Darkside was not the end of hardcore at all, it was just a natural progression of the scene we loved. Just look back at how much it changed from the early years of 89 through to the emergance of jungle in 94/95. The music progressed and changed as attitudes did. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it is shit. Grow up mate.

reason i ask is ive got a slammin vinyl compilation vinyl with a tune labelled as Tales from the Darkside but isn't this but a tune i thought was the b side of this: Final Conflict...

I always thought they were the other way round too (I also have that Slammin Vinyl comp, but knew that tune as Tales from way before that came out).

Consensus on the internet seems to be that this is Tales though.

Maybe some 12s had the labels on the wrong sides or something - we're definitely not alone in having them mixed up in our minds!
