Great Job. I love the rack focus in the beginning scenes. What kind of camera and editing program did you use. The sound is really good, also. clear and crisp. Did you dub the dialogue?
@pjohnson20 Thanks very much. The film was shot on a couple different cameras, Sony EX1 with a Letus 35mm Adapter, Canon 5D, Canon 7D. We edited it in FCP. No dialogue was dubbed all of it was recorded live on set.
This is an excellent depiction of the mental anguish people undergo when they do not have freedom of choice and bodily autonomy. The female lead was being emotionally manipulated into abortion. That isn't choice, and abortion clinic workers are trained to screen for that.
What it doesn't depict is realistic abortion. There are myriad inaccuracies in its depiction of the procedure -- the must fundamental one being that even at 24 weeks the cortical layers needed for consciousness don't exist.
@whickewhack You're right. Fetuses cannot talk. But i'm pretty sure that if they could they would say something similiar to that. Or at the very least they wouldn't choose to die. And I agree about the emotional terrorism too. That's what abortion does to a woman. People should know that. It is the whole purpose of the video.
Wonderful film. Perhaps not all pregnancies are created in good ways, but that doesn't mean the resulting child is a curse. Even the worst of something can have a happy ending if we let it.
@Strymn I so agree! Even pregnancies not created in love can have a happy ending if we let it. A baby created out of rape doesn't have to end in abortion...there are lots of loving families who would be joyful to adopt that baby if the birth mother cant bring herself to keep the baby which I can totally understand. Some birth mothers have though found that keeping the baby brought some kind of healing. Anyway, AWESOME film! Keep spreading the Pro-Life message through the media!
@lkrause74 I do feel that women who have found themselves pregnant through rape or girls pregnant from incest desperately need to be counseled because rape & incest ARE traumatic events. I dont have to have experienced either to know that. However abortion isn't the answer....even if they dont keep the baby...pls choose life and choose adoption!
