Now the interesting part is where the measurements are being taken. Forward of the muzzle or rearward cuz most of the sound goes forward thus the shooter may not need ear protection but the target definitely will want it assuming it's subsonic. If your measuring in Decibels then I can tell you that for most people physical pain occurs at around 170-180 and onward.

this just goes to show, most .22 silencers will be about the same, the new sparrow is just the shortest and most user serviceable.
