This is my favorite Version of both songs Killer queen and The Good old fashioned lover boy !! nicely mixed !!! And Queen is 4persons not just Freddie although he's my favorite too ! LOVE YOU ALL Queen members and Queen Lovers!
He was incredable. When he sings "Everything's all right just hold on tight." That part always makes me fel better when I'm sad. Rest In Peace Freddie we miss you so much baby.
the beginning song is killer queen...... then goes to like a faster verion of Good old fashioned loverboy................. both really great songs!!!!!!
Shocking...Freddie Mercury was really the best... oh my god, he had a very beatiful voice and he was a great artist... Thanks Freddie for this big emotion! God Save The Queen :-)
actually he was a Zoroastrian extremely cool ancient faith flowers, fire, goodness truth light makes sense when you see light eminating off him sheesh hes a beauty
I'm actually watching this, in Houston, on the 30th anniversary of this concert. <3 My God was his voice gorgeous that night! I wish I could go back thirty years... ;_; Too bad he didn't -- as he would at some performances -- say the name of the city he was in for "perfume came naturally from..." HOUSTON!
I saw them in 1980, outdoors I was about 10 feet from the stage, only security peple were between us and the stage. One of the best rock show I've ever seen. I still remember parts of it to this day. In one word: Phenomenal
Freddie's so charming... isn't he? Oh God, you were so unfair to take him from us. Well, You know what you do...that's cause he was faster than everybody else.
what? you still don't know??! not that it matters (nothing really matters, anyway?!)Really. You think that was why he stopped singing?! Vocal nodules? Hmmmmm... Interesting. I think it might have been a bit more serious than that, but let's not argue. He was great!
Freddie had a much easier time with high notes when he was younger. While he did have vocal nodules, it didn't help that he smoked, which also contributed to his voice lowering and him losing the top end of his range as he got older.
Yes, he certainly had an easier time with the high notes during these early days, didn't he? Love hearing these older live concerts, as his voice is still so true!
easier, but still difficult. he has a beautiful timbre, but contrary to widespread mythology he did not have adequate vocal training, and so it's his indulging so violently in these 'high notes' that may account for the decline of his voice in later years. yes, he also had nodules and smoked!
if he was going to forget lyrics it would most likley be on killer queen because good old fashioned lover boy's lyrics are pretty straight forward. so yea i dont think he forgot

wth? did Freddie like forget the lyrics to Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy? every live performance I've seen he doesn't say "set my alarm turn on my charm"
freddie not being able to sing high notes had nothing to do with him having aids. actually he had a condition called "vocal nodules" (im not sure what it is) and he refused to get surgery. so i guess it was getting worse as time went on so thats why he couldnt really sing high notes anymore.
Vocal Nodules, are small lumps in the throat, which causes the throat 2 slightly tighten up, like sumone who cant sing at all, and they try hit a high note and u c them really struggling, well they tryin 2 stretch the throat and voice box.....but as u say, freddie refused 2 av surgery 2 correct this problem (Resons best known 2 himself I guess)
