@diajassy I don't believe that there currently is a list of games for the PowerMac 6100. However, I do know where you can find almost any Mac game written from the days of System 1.0 to the days of Mac OS 9.2.2.
@diajassy I don't know what game you're talking about, sadly. I didn't play my first shooter until 1998 =\ You may be able to find it on the site, tho :)
Google for "Macintosh Garden" and you'll be able to find the site (YouTube won't let me post links)
Nice Video but i think it need more effects.. you can get nice video effects plugins and addons from aries-films file section. Just google for Aries-Films man.. pc
Since you happen to be a mac guru maybe you can help me out. can you or anyone tell of a game..it's hard to describe having it played once. The game (if memory serves me) was a shooter with vector graphics and the first stage was circular which reminded me of gyruss and tempest...after you won the stage you would go to the planest surface, the view would change and you would shoot more baddies (I think). I was only 12 when I played the game and I'm 27 now. I remember it being on a demo disc.
About the game "Souls System" you play here, I have an identical looking game, except it's called "Shadow Wraith", guess it got renamed from the demo. Really played that alot 15 years ago :)
BTW, I noticed there were pots on the back for vertical and horizontal shift as well as trap but no resize or geometry pots :( Does the applevision software in OS9 do what I want it to?
I grew up on an old shitty Performa 6300... I later had two 7600 and a 8500... Those were nice machines, in fact they are still sitting around the house.
I have a 6100/60 with maxed out RAM and a 1.2 GB hard drive. Also I have a bunch of external SCSI devices. Nice system for playing games, but no ethernet is a real bummer.
The kind is Apple AudioVision. However, I don't know what kind of port it is. All I know is that it contains 1 ADB port, 1 S-Video port, audio out, and audio in, all on the sides. I also know that it doesn't connect via DB-15 video port, and has built in speakers.
I just found out the booting problem wasn't about hardware. It seems that it's because both of its original hard drives had a system on it. But when I deteached one of its hard disks to examine it, it probably reset the startup disk procudure. So it's probably going in a loop choosing what to boot from.
oh my, you have a lot of shareware games on it. the only games I have on my 6100 are Quake 1, Marathon Trilogy, Prince of Persia 2, Full Throttle, Pro Pinball: The Web, and *cough* Photoshop 4.0. Hahahah! Kidding aside, I love this machine even today.
I have the same computer with a cd rom drive

make it crash because it has the funny "car crash" crash sound. Just hold down control - Apple - Power. dash and period not included in the combo.

I LOVE those little Trinitrons, they have incredible image quality.... they may be 13" but they still eat any modern LCD for breakfast.
