Arabs are simply amazing. I had an Arab, but she was taken away. 21 years old and 13.2 hands high- she was amazing and I'll always miss her. Theres a bunch of people that complain about how highstrung arabs are, but thats alot better than getting lazy as soon as they turn 18....i love my arabian. Hes amazing and he is so sweet! he is 26 and people allways tell me how young he looks. and guess what? We went to a big show and won 2nd place in barrels(and poles), they are EXTREAMLY hard workers and want to please there owners!

Them being "highstrung" ot "hyper" only makes you a better rider. And its good they acctually have Personality

I have always loved all horses; but really fell in love while riding this breed in Luxor!

They are FANTASTIC, excruciatingly beautiful, gentle and lovable. I spoke to my horse in the only Arabic words that I know. "I love you". We saw a beautiful daubled grey dance, to a live fellahin trio. I will tell you this these horses know only 2 speeds 0mph or 45 mph. I regret NOT having organic carrot chunks to give to my horse. I still dream of him, that was 1987.

Arabians are the most beautiful horses. i used to lease a beautiful, perfect mare. she was white with tiy brown spots. the farrier who worked with her feet though did something wrong. oh btw her name was Cheree. and she went lame. the owner said she wasnt earning her keep so they took her away. she was so neglected with a knotted mane and a greasy coat. i wonder if she is ok. i love you cheree i never will forget you. you were my real dream. <3

I used to ride arabs at a school a couple years ago for the winter months. Even though they were more high strung than my quarter horse, they were still a joy to ride! My favorite was Taj. Everyone called him Tubby Taj cuz he was pretty chunky for an arab Lol! He was a sweetheart and he reveled in the attention he got Haha! Quite a personality.

In our Arabic culture a good stallion is our most valuable possession because it is so rare, so proud, so perfect, so noble! @blackback2008 Easy. lol Look for the arched neck, and noticed how ttheir nosees curl in? Through, mix breeds with arabian blood do have some of thesesame things, but it will help. They are very skinny. If you need more help, type in the question of how to make a difference between other arabians and horses.

if i i'not wrong the arabian horses are one of the oldest horse breeds, going back more than 4,000 years.

they were very good horses that many people from aroun the world mix them with different races due to it's endurance, refinement, speed and strong bone, and it's origin is the middle east.

The Amazing thing about the Arabian breed, is the relationship between the owner and the horse, the horse respect the owner so much, i used to ride arabian, and i trained riding one, the greatest thing about it is:

1- doesn't run away with children or go fast with them...(best for children and obey their commands)

2- I used to fall more than 3 times, and the horse always avoid the rider or jumps him, unless it goes by mistake.(I mean it doesn't step on you)

it is very easy for beginner or child.

Personally, I can't decide which are my favorite, I barrel race, and last year my QH mare was taken away form me. My mom raises arabs and a gelding called Sahede was my last resort. I took 1 month training him then hauled him to a rodeo. His 1st time ever being to a rodeo we placed 3rd and won $300, so I have to say-Arabians are amazing. I luv him-but I also love my QH...so yeaa

I'm away at school and I'm missing my horses. I have two, my faithful irreplaceable, level-headed, Arabian gelding, AND my lovable, smart, sweet, Paint stallion. I don't think it is always the breed that makes the horse. I have found that there are things about both Arabians and stock horses that I love. There are also unique things about my two, very different, horses that make me appreciate that they are who they are.

I think we should all just love horses, don't fight over what breed is best.

Christ. I australia they're the cheapest breed around to buy, on par with TB ex- rachorses & standardbreds. I have a few beauties myself. I think you cant go past them on temperament and their willingness to please, they're a true friend. BUT........ their brains are so precise, they're easy to screw up if you aren't a good horseman.
