Just imagine a society where you can obtain a camera to see inside walls clearly, as the law enforcement bit showed. Imagine that someone can see you you banging your wife or taking a dump, clearly inside your "glass house". THIS is not going to be real funny. When this technology becomes available to anyone, and it will, one way or the other, the real shit will hit the fan, and you will be able to see it ... clearly.
First of all, the jury is still out on how dangerous being microwaved might be to one's health; the evidence seems to indicate DNA damage from those airport scanners the DHS seems to love. Then you have the obvious potential for violations of privacy. Finally, the "gun" shown is clearly a PLASTIC toy, at least to the naked eye. If some operator can see a "gun," and react inappropriately to a kid with a toy, then clearly this is a flawed technology. I'm not impressed. ='[.]'=
how many times can you use this thing before you get cancer?

if this works on microwaves than a radio jammer should fix the problem just fine

@Raycheetah
How dangerous microwaves are, depends on their frequency...and duration. Short pulses are less dangerous than CW waves.

That's fine. This is still an incredibly intrusive invasion of privacy. You're welcome to be scanned. I'll pass, even if it means a pat-down. =^[.]^=

It is....but could be worse. Yellow n blue spots on a screen is not that bad imo.

You can cover your walls with conductive paint that you can mix at home. Likewise you can make your clothing microwave-proof.
