I'm kinda confused why you went with the post-'66 headlight bucket though. I think the cased lights looks tits, but to each their own.

Guys, this is indeed a 62. The owner has just replaced the 62 fenders and headlamps with 67s. The bumpers are Euro models with guards and without the American over-riders that were so used to seeing.

Lovely bug, fair play man;) But post-68, judging by the vertical headlamps...unless the original sloping wings, long bonnet and front apron have been changed to later items.

Beautiful bug I got a 68 with a cal bug look all chrome taken off lowered 3in all the way around 1835 engine turbo exhaust. And i love my bug to death great to see other beautiful bugs

Just rebuilt my front end of my 62 and added KYB shocks to the front. Now it sits up like a Kubelwagen. I love the look of this car man.
