Global warming isn't even as drastic as some politically influenced and financed scientists say. Their global fluid models which predict global warming don't take into account the land, water, plant life, and animal life that absorb and reduce greenhouse gases in the air. The few scientific models which predict (by the way, science is more about observations rather than predictions, making global warming even more questionable) global warming are flawed.

1) Aviation accounts for less than 5% of global warming. Instead of faking a knowledge of contrail chemistry, try turning down the thermostat a degree all summer - you'll do a lot more good.
2) "Clean electric energy" - does a fairy produce it at the power plant and ship it to you through lines of pixie dust? Unless you live in BFE California w/ wind power, your park flyers run from energy derived from fossil fuels too.

Νight flights? Long-haul usually goes through the night, you can't cut them down since airtravel demand is incresing. Very bad points in this debate I'd have to say. Gas turbine tech is becoming more efficient and the new PW geared fan screw or RR/GE techs (contra rotating turboprops) is going to reduce emissions plus flight level, which in turn makes fliying much more eco-friendly. You can't stop/restrict flights as you can't cut your head if you have a headache.
