awesome vid...superb technique...wish i had an instructor like u....if possible can u make a vid teaching some sensitivity drills if possible..thanx..God bless
A badly telegraphed Pak Sao. What's the point of trying to trap or close down the opponent with ounce gloves on why not just put some Bong Sau gloves on and spar with the guy showing how one can do it in a live situation?
This vid is good but honestly anyone can make a one step look good and fast, in actual combat things are ever changing, in one steps u merely just block and counter while ur opponent sits there. I will say that onesteps fasten reaction time tho, sparring is a completley diffrent situation as well as actual fighting.
to be fair hes really gd think people should come up with thir own way of breathing thirs alot of people out thir copying the great bruce lee and its kinda looking cheesey but all in all the pad work is a class A im doing the same thing as you mixing wing chun with thai boxing but this guy would kick my ass lol nice work
Sorry bro, but screaming when you throw a punch or kick does not make for a harder impact. What it does is push the air out of your body preparing your body for impact incase you get hit on the counter. It also helps with your breathing and allows you to breath correctly rather than holding your breath when you punch.
awsome dude i love your style, wast punchs and slow heavy kicks...you can also do fast ones, i wanna learn the way you fight..i can kick fast like that but not puches awsome man
your hands look fukin awsome man !do they work like that full contact?! if you dont mind, your round house could be beter.try relaxing your hip more lifting your mnee then kicking downward abit ,also turn your torso aswell with a snap.? good luck man looking good. chok dee!
dont listen to these guys, your kicks "whatever style" is impressive. good speed and balance, imho. i would be very cautious to spar with you. nothing wrong with taking on the fighting spirit of the little dragon.
We do spar, and regularly, these are just some quick little videos we shot, nothing special. You are welcome to come spar with us at any time at our facility located in Southern California. If you would like more information just let me know and thanks for your comment.
I agree with you, the kicks in this video are lacking power and speed. Take in mind this is just some footage we took on a lazy day. We will be uploading cleaner and better footage in the future. Thanks for you comment.
Hey asbclub, notice the trap he set up before he commenced striking. He wasn't just standing there and letting him punch him. When your natural weapons are trapped, it is difficult to counter.
Good stuff, lightning quick strikes and powerful kicks, with awsome footwork and hand combinations. A little Muy Thai and Wing Chun. It's very difficult to execute Wing Chun striking combinations with large gloves. I see though, he managed to do it without sacrificing space. Bravo!!!
The most important tool in fighting is your defence! never let your guard down, and protect yourself at all times! Remember folks it only takes a single blow to the right spot!
I really hate demonstrations where the 'attacker' stands there compliantly and takes eight hundred shots. It's incredibly misleading. And why do people constantly mimic the cinematic version of Bruce Lee when he always pointed out that it was far removed from his true style?
You train a series of combinations, but you also train by having your combos interupted. I'm sure that if his combo's were interupted he could adapt to them and employ other combos instantly; that's what wing chun does and works awesomely well. blindunden, be careful w/too much hip action as this can telegraph the kick. Wing Chun often will turn a center stance (brining knee to midline) then turning into a kick minimizing your ability to read the kick; great technique.
Man, I'll ignore the comment above (even sharing the idea that you don't need to be Bruce Lee) and say that the video is awesome (except from de Bruce Lee-like screams).
i like it ,real contact, just wish i could see them sparring and making contact.it would ad more credibility

LOL, what is this? A dancing chicken?
Very funny video. I couldn't stop laughing with the sounds. Kicks are slow and lack penetration.
Man, those sounds! LOL.

At punching range it is difficult for an opponent to successfully deliver a groin kick before being hit with hands.

Both of your kicks are incrediably slow man, loosen up a bit...they lack power. Like the dude said earlier, the hip, explode.
As for the Lee's sounds effects...you're not Bruce.

Also, wheres your guard? Don't care how many punches you can throw, it only takes 1 to knock you out and if your not guarding your gonna get slapped!
