@enewt81 Well that only happens if you flat iron your hair ALL THE TIME and I mean all the time over a long period of time. Harmony rarely uses a blow dryer on her hair much less a flat iron. Nothing will happen to her curls.

@FreeWorshipFreeWors I didn't know that at all. I heard that spraying your hair with lemon juice lightens it gradually, more so in the summer. Perhaps something you'd like to try in case you are a bit upset over the darkening of your hair. But the lemon will not get your hair as light as it was before.

In regard to a salon...I really can't help with that bu I will say this...go to a salon that respects your kink...you don't want someone in your hair that does not like natural hair. Excellent video & excellent advice!!! Men and women--people in general--should be judged by their character, not their assets and the lack thereof. That's why I find these women who go after men for their assets laughable. What they fail to realize is that EVERYTHING comes with a price. God's love never fails but sometimes He allows us to go through these things to get more understanding. Harmony, you really touched upon something when you said we as women can run companies, households etc., but when it comes to relationships we sometimes fall short. And thats true because. As a young girl both my parents drilled in me to be educated, independent and all these other life survival skills, but they never talked to me about being a good girlfriend or wife... They never talked about "when you get married" or "When you have children" this is what you should do.

There's a whole series - Boundaries in Relationships / in Marriage / with Kids / at Work...etc. The list goes on. I read it years ago and realized that my 'people pleasing' self had no clue about boundaries! I always recommend these to friends and they are always well received.
