@khdetw A few years ago, during a routine reconditioning, his guitar was changed over to be wireless for just that reason. He had pics of it taken apart on his web site and the plug-in was pretty chewed up. I believe he said he was surprised it hadn't been disconnecting more than it had once he saw the condition. Even though it almost stopped my heart to see it in pieces, it was pretty cool to see what is inside!

If you play then you know working a rythem with delay isn't easy. As great in Astronomy as he is with guitar. A marriage between rock, classic and even opera gives Queen its charictor and May is the cornerstone. Seen them in Atlanta in the Game Tour, 1980.

@TheKookabear Thats how its referred to by Queen, he often did this kind of extended solo midway through the actual song Brighton rock in the 70s they dropped all but the solo though in the 80s for the most part.

@trishsquishful There were delay pedals as such, not exactly a pedal but you could create a delay effect using other electronics from that time and Brian does use the effect live and at the time of recording. It is still incredibly impressive that he plays in such a way that it sounds as if there are at least 5 guitarists playing when really there is only him.
