and btw....if your checking a phone line with a voltmeter......it will show as follows.....95 volts if phone is ringing.....52 volts if phone on hook....and 5 to 7 volts if someone is talking on the line.....that is good to know....lol

you can even simpler ...hold a toning wand up to the phone line......and hear all....

I think electrical tape would better as duck tape has metal in it and conducts electricity. might short out the cucuit board you taped together.

hey im in the uk but i dont think we have those boxes on the side of the house, the phone lines are connected thru telephone masts then i think they are linked to a box but it has a triangle screw on it, so yeh

@lisn92 dude i live in the UK and where i am from they have the boxes on the front of the house there brown and i am gonna try it :) ill get back to you and let you know how well it goes but man the phone boxes are right under the window which kinda sucks

@lisn92 where abouts in the UK are u from ? :) also have you noticed that some BT little phone boxs seems to be half way up the house ? i know virgin media they have a massive thick wire so u can't tell where the phone line is

The phone line in this video goes under ground as well. There needs to be a point of entry into the house/building.

The cables are going to the house underground. They are in the closet where the electricity, cable (tv), and phone are. The only way you can get to these phone lines is by going into the closet and cutting the wires that go to the phone wall plug and listening in on a conversation that someone else is have on the other side of the wall XD Also there is a traces because when you pick up your phone to listen in the other will hear a click. Why didn't you jshow us a sound activated recorder too?

I got allot to show ye guys. I use do that allot when I was a kid, only for I stripped parts out of old phones to go undetected 100 percent no pop in the audio if someone was on the line when you connect. For wireless I used those two channel CB walkietalkies and switched the crystals around so no body on a cb would hear. All my phone tapping equipment is small and you don't need to use a full phone set to tap the lines. What I will show you soon will blow your minds.
