Monopoly is a game based off of luck, you may think it takes skill but that only comes late game, early game is all about luck, for example what if one person gets one of each property and is the only person to own 3 matching properties, or two for boardwalk,(btw this happened to me once playing 3 comps), obviously that person wouldn't trade any property and gradually win the game, that's the best case scenario and it's all due to lucky roles in the early game.

There is a significannt amount of strategy in there. A skillful player who makes the right trades can easily beat an idiot who gets lucky. Unless you're lucky enough to get a good monopoly without trading very early (like dark blue or orange), you cannot rely un luck.

Not true. Monopoly does have skill involved. If you play it right you can block other people from getting monopolies, building houses and hotels, and can practically bankrupt them everytime they land on one of your properties. The dice does play a factor, but you can still buy and trade intelligently enough to stay ahead.

poker is quite different, poker isn't about playing you're hand, it's about playing the other person's hand, mind games and bluffing, as they have no idea what you have.

in monopoly, they know excatly what you have, and if you're lucky enough to get all three properties before someone else does and improve them, you can block them off, and you basically win, putting it very simply (yes i know there is more to it than just this) the dice decides who wins or loses.

Monopoly has a lot more luck than rock paper scissors but its still pretty math driven which properties your statistically most likely to land on. For example your most likely to land on orange for a number of reasons your most likely to roll a 7 then 6-8 all of which put you right into orange from jail, there is a chance card that sends you to oj, and a card that sends you to pink just as a exp.
