I might download it if I could understand what the guy is saying when you click on the option to download and go through the on-line tour. I live in UK and I honestly cannot understand what this US guy is saying. It is obviously some kind of English, unfortunately his American accent is so heavy that I cannot get past it in order to understand what he is actually trying to say.
i have this currently on my mac and i wanna transport it to my new ssd when i will getting mine, does anyone know how to transport it? maybe with an usb stick?
do you know of an alternative fr Network Magic from Cisco for PC, they had a mac add on but no longer, I'm looking for an similar network management program for the MAC
I'm not sure what to believe. I downloaded the trial and it said I had 1474 unfixed errors and my system is critical. I can somewhat believe that considering I have 5,000 songs and about 100 movies downloaded from torrents. Does it actually clear space on your hard drive, clear cookies and cache? Or does the app itself create those 1500 problems, and then tricks you into buying them?
@SoutHcouGars2010 Yeah, it tricks you to buy it because I just had my new Mac laptop and for security I downloaded the trial version so I checked if there wee problems and it told me I got like 3,000 problems! And my Mac is just brand new!
this app basically does everything but its good i only did trial the next day i turned on my laptop my desktop pic was gone apps were missing from my dock and some settings got changed everything fine since i put everything back its good now but it made my laptop slow down so i deleted it i mean its awesome defiantly recommend it to someone who's willing to take that risk but its not for me i'll stick to throwing trash the hard way but overall its pretty good! =)
15. Default apps, you can just right-click on the file and change the program to open with and you can change it so that it will open the extension with a certain program
16. Geek On Demand is dumb, just type on google your problem and it should come up and you can just go to the apple store
I just successfully shown what MacKeeper really is, it's so misleading that the company should be sued.
@UvoraTheOnlineWorld .... 16 steps put into one easy app? i would still buy. I don't see how its a ripoff, just personal preferance maybe. And don't go calling everyone an idiot. You sound almost hypocritical
Hey Soldier, I wanna know what is okay to remove or not remove in the MacKeeper. Like I look at some files in Cache cleaners, duplicate finders, etc. I wanna know what is safe to delete or not delete without deleting apps or software etc. And is there a way to find files you emptied in the trash and then remove it completely. Also i find it kinda dumb that they "save the space" of the item you deleted. If I empty it I wanna get rid of it.
This is a wonderful app. I love it and recommend it to all! it has freed up about 50GB's on my computer so far, maybe more. Thanks soldierknowsbest for the review. Get this guys it does a lot more than you think!
too expensive... no thanks... I'd rather just go through all the crap myself and delete what I don't need.... OR I'm gonna spend that much money, I might as well just by an external hard drive and put all the junk on there
It's pretty cool. I emailed the MacKeepers and they said that even though there is a 15 day trial period, you get to keep the cleaners on your Mac after that (minus updates). The cleaners are the main reason I would want this application. I cleared up almost 30 GB of useless junk from my MBPro. Maybe in the future, when I'm actually earning money, I'll get the full app for security features.
@r1a9y if you are careful enough whilst using your computer (don't visit dodgy sites, don't open anything you don't recognise, the usual) you won't need an antivirus on a Mac
I would purchase this if the shredder made a little shredding animation that showed my document bieng turned into confetti that flew around the screen
MacKeeper looks like an awesome App. I hope to be making the switch from PC very soon, and MacKeeper will be one of the first apps I buy. I am a freak about keeping my computer clean (as you have to with PC) and this program does look like it does it all just like SoldierKnowsBest said.
It's a great application but be cautious when you use it. As in make sure you know what your doing (I made that mistake). It does a great job but it wiped out some of my mobile apps in my itunes account and I had to go into time machine and bring them back. This took me a while since I never use time machine, and never had something like this happen to me. But besides taking a couple of my apps, it does an awesome job on finding a cleaning.
Are you sure it's ok to delete everything is comes up with on it's "one click scan" I am worried there will be issues within the Adobe suite, Final Cut or Cinema 4D etc... just curious...

6. Backup, use Time Machine, same exact thing
7. ZeoDisk, just back it up to a external hard drive, god.
8. Fast Cleanup is okay, but it's the same as CleanMyMac
9. Duplicates Finder is inaccurate and not needed
10. Files Finder, um that's what the Finder is for
11. Disk Usage is not necessary
12. Wise Uninstaller, just use AppZapper
13. Update Tracker, there are free widgets that do the same thing better. It checks apple, macupdate and versiontracker
14. Log items, already in preferences

2. Anti-theft, why would you leave your mac un-supervised? idiots
3. Data Encryptor, they already have FileVault and why would you want to encrypt your stuff? That's what a password is for.
4. Undelete, um just don't delete the file and parts of the file you undelete might not even show up
5. Shredder, empty your trash securely, im mad that the price says 99.95
