  • Whaaaaaao, Guam? Awesome I live here there/here.

  • moo moo

  • moo

  • @Mogley52 it's funny you'll type up pages of comments rather than take a few minutes on google and have your questions answered. Such a waste of time.

  • @Mogley52 Troll.

  • The fact that someone can be exiled for not believing in the invisible man who takes no action...............is testament to humanity's stupidity. I feel so sorry for this man, and so infuriated towards his tormentors.

  • @chewface Welcome to my extended family *eyeroll*

  • This is very sad.

  • I went to a private Lutheran school and most of my friends I made there are atheists. Why does America make such a big deal over people's personal beliefs?

  • God is a spirit, an immaterial conscious being. All things in the universe consists of matter and/or energy, so if God isn't matter, is energy by definition. Energy is the capacity to do work, is eternal, omnipresent, wasn't created and can't be destroyed, can create matter, was the only thing present before the BB, and the energy required to make the universe must had been powerful. All these match Biblical descriptions of God. He wants us to elevate our consciousness to the next level, is real

  • Wow, that something like this can happen in a so-called western, civilised country. I'm glad I'm European and being an atheist is normal in my country. I feel really bad for the boy and how he will be strong and not let those bullies win.

  • This is so sad :'(

    The poor guy...

  • I went to a catholic school and the people there were rather tolerant of my beliefs.

  • I have the worst discrimination experiance:

I'm an atheist who lives in KANSAS! need I say more?

  • Sounds like these god haters are a part of westboro baptist church.

  • I couldn't imagine living in a religious fundamentalist country like the USA. The whole concept of being discriminated against for my religious beliefs is such an alien concept to me.

  • @StevenBee2 Trust me, it really sucks. Most people still have this fucked up view engrained in their DNA that you have to be Christian, love your government, play nice, etc, like something right out of that Pleasantville movie where nobody was allowed to be different at all. It also feeds right into what political party you are, because for some reason you have to pick one or the other. I'm independent and am called stupid for caring more about the issue than who represents it.

  • @shady9321 that's something I've certainly noticed about America. There is this immensely powerful false dichotomy set up between republicans and democrats. So much that they are the only two options, and whichever option you choose, then ALL of your opinions have to line up with that party's stance. It *really* freaks me out. I've been called a filthy democrat or a dirty republican by so many Americans (admittedly much more often a democrat) online, even when they know I'm not American!

  • @StevenBee2 I try to get pride as an American, but it's like a disgusting name tag that accompanies me when I try to shine through. That's what scares me about this nation is the bipartisan lie, and I'm scared about that candidate Rick Perry coming up soon only because he hangs around with the Bilderbergs. It's not like any other politician of ours isn't already one of them, but I have a bad gut feeling about this dude.

  • There's something very Westboro baptist church about that song at the beginning. I'd lose it if I were you guys.

  • @floppykid

The fact that it is the WBC might have something to do with that.

  • @TheRipcity22

Oh right, I thought it was a tune they were using for the show that they wrote themselves.

    Disturbed me a little.

  • @MrTrack412 Sure there are. They have a website. Militaryatheists . org.

  • @MrTrack412 I have seen Ur post on several other pages; 'There are no atheists in a foxhole!!!"

Why don't U get off Ur ASS and come out with it and say what U mean !!

Get it out !! Spew THAT Threat !

BELIEVE in JESUS or Go to HELL!!

Quit F-ing around and say it.....stop being so cowardly about the THREATING People with HELL and Veiling it with that Garbage.

  • @MrTrack412 There are more atheists in the military (and in general) than you would believe.

Your fairy tail is failing the test of time, get over it.

  • i have the right to believe in what i want, and when i want. christians are a disgrace to their own beliefs..

  • im an atheist.

and i cant say that anyone have the right to judge me because of my "beliefs".

just as i dont judge anyone else because of their religion. i know people who are christians, muslims and atheists, and i never talk to them about their religion.

keep your religion to yourself and no one will get hurt or pissed off =)

  • @colony665 That's not so easy if you go to a school full of Christians :P

I went to a Christian middle school (I don't know what the fuck my dad was thinking) and the very first day I was sent to the principal's office by my homeroom teacher, and he gave me a couple demerits, just because I was asking someone how the `pledge allegiance to the cross' went XP

Everything in that school was prayer and talking about God. There was nothing else. I had to convert, took me forever to get away again >.<

  • @DarthFennec well, "keep the religion to yourself" statement should be implemented to schools aswell.

religion has nothing to do in schools or in politics.

it should only be in the homes. nowhere else

  • Rejecting a child under any circumstances is an absolutely despicable act of parenting. Really, the only thing that can be said of this subject is that if you aren't willing to accept your child no matter how they turn out, you should not be a parent. Even if you're the grandparents, you should well know your kids will plan to have kids of their own one day. It really irks me to hear anyone disown a relative due to their own preconceptions. It is a sad world we live in.

  • atheists must not be affraid. they are the reasonable ones...

  • Its so sad there still lives a generation of people who would denounce their child or grandchild for atheism. Madness. Because of rejecting your imaginary friend you feel somebody deserves to be locked out of family. Religion is such disgusting poison.

  • @bary1234 I know exactly what you mean. It's disgusting. I'm an Atheist, but I'm not going to tell my mother because she would condemn me for it. To have your own family not accept your religious beliefs is disgusting.

  • @deathblackthrashing I would certainly not be rejected for it, but my mother would be incredibly angered by it.

  • @deathblackthrashing : Last superstitious generation will die out in 40 years. New superstitious generations wont rise, we now have schools and information available to all. Knowledge kills religion. There are now news globally about whole countries shaking off the shakles of organised superstition. That chainreaction will gather speed and momentum, its going to be the greatest achievement of human history. Giving up imaginary friends, letting go of childhood fantasies and wishfull thinking.

  • Atheists are the most discriminated group in the world. Sadly there will be a lot of Christian funamantalists running on the republican ticket in 2012. My atheist friends will enjoy "Religious fanatic debates Atheist" on my channel.

  • @Preator6 yeah so do i. i find it so insane that you get discriminated against if your an atheist in america.

  • this is why i keep my secularist belief to myself.

  • this is why i keep my secularist-agnostic belief to myself.

  • i have had a class of 5th grader screaming and chanting im going to hell and the teacher didnt give a shit

even though it is retarted the bible(like most religious books) is a powerful book, it over powers the mind and turns people insane...egotistical, selfish ,blind, violent, and ignorant

  • I've never been discriminated against or had people act negatively toward me because I'm an atheist, and I live in Florida. People always sound intrigued that they know an atheist.

  • The other day I was in a bookstore reading a book called "Is God Man Made?". Some fifty-something year old guy saw the title of the book and said in an inappropriately loud voice "Why are you reading something like that?! You know that's blasphemous, don't you?"

I told him I didn't believe that. Within a short time of talking he eventually figured out that I was an atheist. Boy, did he get PISSED! Some people that worked there asked him to leave. I go there a lot so they knew that I was Ok.

  • zsezse com

  • I've never been made fun of due to my atheism.

Maybe because I live in Canada?

  • I love Christians irrationality...

  • @UnderlordZ Well of course they don't believe this with consideration that based on the mindset established by Christian institutions, they are doing no wrong to the children by indoctrinating them with Christian beliefs through any means necessary because they are doing "what God wants them to do." It is very disturbing that Christian institutions have this kind of power over people, don't you agree?

  • people waste their lives hating people for not believing in an imaginary thing

  • @lulumousie I hate you cause you don't believe in harry potter! That's how much sense they make.

  • Santa Claus runs the show to the extreme angst of northernmost fat-chewers, bone-knitters & blubber-boilers. This pit will make one lucky couple a fitting wedding gift as there's room enough to bury 2 people. [Just like that actor: Billy Disease Filth Williams, I have had my problems with black-on-white crime.]

  • I've only really identified myself as an Atheist since about 3 or 4 months ago. The day after my boyfriend of a year and a half found out, he broke up with me.

    Gotta love narrow-mindedness.

  • @LOVEluv1 If he was willing to leave you over something like that...you had no future with him.

  • @Tiptoetherat Oh yeah, the breaking up part didn't bother me (I'd been meaning to do it for weeks and weeks but I'm a huge chicken and he was a close friend), it was the reason why that pissed me off.

I'm glad it happened either way because now I realize what he truly is and don't want to even be friends anymore.

  • @LOVEluv1 Best of luck the next time you date ;)

  • @LOVEluv1 well thats good for you that you didnt have to be around that idiot anymore

  • No my dad never killed himself. Hes a catholic so he believes that hed burn in hell if he killed himself. If he killed me, it would be called "god's work" or what god wants.

  • FUCK I HATE THE OPENING SONG, its ANNOYING

  • @baahhhFATALITY11 Annoying, yes, but it shows that some sick fucks don't consider it beneath them to use fearmongering scare tactics to indoctrinate CHILDREN!

  • Ignorance makes people do stupid shit.

I'm glad i never really had to face this kind of rejection from people. The weirdest thing was at school, where i'd stay in the classroom doing whatever while the rest of the kids went to mass, which happened to be a good thing because it gave me time to do homework, lol.

  • @hellhammerz666 Wait, what? Mass at school? Was this like Sunday school or something? If so, what were you doing there?

  • Jeez that song is just terrible, I had to fast forward almost 40 seconds to get away! The Phelps family really needs singing lessons.

  • my dad told me he failed me, and that there was something wrong with me and hed kill himself because i am an athiest.....

  • @IAMAGAMEBOY So did he kill himself?

  • theist: "why do you guys always try to convert me and trash my belifs?"

    atheist: -_- *facepalm*

  • Poor guy...you can hear the pain in his voice. Shame on those bigots.

  • @eljagg01 I heard it, too. He sounds like he's really having a hard time.

  • The best argument against a religion is the followers of that religion.

  • @schneke1 I don't think it is up to god to judge thats why christians have to do it.

  • lol, I remember my first encounter with a Jewish kid in first grade. I tattled on him when I found out he didn't believe in Santa. God damn, was I stupid.

  • Is there an australian support group? :( I need help

  • Shameless ignorant assholes, how dare they harass this guy.

  • @schneke1 As atheists, we don't "judge" people in the same way that the religious "judge." What we do is criticize and call people out on negative behavior for a better future. This is different from condemning a person to eternal suffering because we feel they are morally inferior to us.

  • Religious people are the biggest fucking hypocrities...talking about peace, love, and tolerance yet they are some of the fucking most moronic, irrational assholes on the whole fucking planet. Shit those pious freaks have no common sense and rather live a fucking fantasy just because it is more comforting and believe in customs that were made by superstitous ignorant ancients.

  • @supersmash43 Ironic huh

  • Religion is silly, it's just that it's scary what people do in it's name.

  • @iversonmatthew yeah religions gets a magical fucking shield from criticism just because they are as old as fuck (think about religions only get so much power because they have been engraved inside a culture due to AUTHORITY and FEAR). That's all religion is: fucking superstition, fear, and ignorance!

Wake up people. We aren't living in a work of fiction!

Fiction is based on reality, but it doesn't work the other way around lol...

  • @supersmash43 Right on!

  • @iversonmatthew yeah it is hard to deny those facts but people still do so. I am pretty sure the rational side of any person could tell religion is irrational using common sense. But these people are purposely deluding themselves to the point where they believe in this lie by 2nd nature.

  • we athiest are the modern day round earthers

  • Discrimination only seems to go one way. I can't think of any Athiests who would discriminate religious people. I'm not saying all religious people will discriminate Athiests, but many will at least lose a bit of respect for them knowing their beliefs.

  • leben und leben lassen

  • @TheApostleJames Wow! complete misunderstanding of atheism! atheism is a lack of belief and faith! The reason we lack a belief? becuase theres no evidence suggesting that any god exists. Believeing in a god is the easy way out. You dont have to think about it, just say "ok theres a god, Im gonna believe in him". But deniying (cant spell) that requires you to think about it and put together the peices of the puzzle. Please reveiw your opions on atheism from a logical perspective.

  • Well why wouldn't the ACLU deal with something like that in Guam? Isn't Guam an American territory?

  • There should be a TV channel for Atheists, Agnostics, Humanists and other freethinkers.

  • @MasterAdam100 The Discovery channel

  • @RockBanned-Oh yes, lol. I would say National Geographic but they had shows on near Easter Sunday that acted like they were sure Jesus existed and was the son of god. I'm all for different view points and everything but damn.

  • @MasterAdam100 I would sooooo watch that. Hell I would even donate to that one :)

  • I have Atheist associates who understand the proper meanings of the words atheist AND agnaostic, who STILL object to my self-indentification as both, apparently on principle alone - as though they think I'm unwilling to claim that I hold the belief that there is no god (something - BTW - I have no problem admitting).

  • Fucking hypocrits to judge anyone let alone people that don't fit your belief structure which ironically tells you to NOT judge let alone threaten anyone in the name of their belief.

  • I got so so so fn much shit when I was in the military over being an atheist. Religion needs to be taken out of our military. When they said their bs prayers in iraq so we could "take down our enemy" and make it back ok did they work. FUCK NO. We lost some very good men and one of them had a kid one week before we left, what kind of sick god would do that? Why where our religious mad over anything it is their god that knows it was going to happen and let it happen.

  • I remember when I told to a teacher that Im an atheist. She then looked at me with this cold, angry look...

  • It's unfair what atheists have to go through. They almost never do that to others, so why should they suffer at the hands of such unacceptable behaviour?

  • I think that was the Westboro Baptist nuts singing in the beginning.

  • that poor guy! I am friends with a lot of theists, going to a christian school and i have never experienced any negativity! Is this sort of stuff more prominent is America (cause you guys are a nation more concerned with god) - like, does it happen a lot?

  • I've never experienced anything negative. Actually, 3 of 4 of my best friends are Christians (born-again, evangelical and the whole 9 yards). Though, my brother is in high school and gets a lot of shit from a few people for it. Me and him go over proper comebacks in such situations. People that discriminate in real life are just ignorant assholes. I mean, I can understand being an ass on the internet (I myself am one =D), but in real life, it... it just seems too far.

  • I live in Albama and im an atheist and the best way to avoid discrimmination is just to lie about your faith its easy

  • please quit lying. Be a man, or a real woman. We need to be strong and stand up for our beliefs too.

  • horrible idea. You should stand up for the truth

  • I'm from Texas and used to be up against the same anti-atheist attitudes. As long as people don't know any atheists, its easy for church leaders to potray us as angry, sad, or obsessed with sex and drugs. Christians love feeling like they're besieged in a culture that hates them, even when they're the majority. If they see that the nice young man or woman down the block, who is always so nice, is an atheist, they'll have to reevaluate some beliefs about us. Stay strong, and move if you have to.

  • I cannot believe this guy's grandparents won't talk to him. They are terrible grandparents then and don't really love him.

  • @TheJesusSucks

Most grandparents I'm familiar with don't actually love their grandkids. At least his are honest about it. Passive aggression is a bitch.

  • @TheJesusSucks that's what religious beliefs can do to people...

  • @TheJesusSucks they love him just not more than god

  • @nztexas1 dont make sense all angery sounds like a closed minded Christian talking

  • @nztexas1 I'm an Atheist, and I'm not angry. Point made invalid.

  • @nztexas1 Maybe every Atheist you meet is angry because you piss them off.

  • @nztexas1 they are not "mingling" for the same reason ppl who don't believe-in bigfoot don't "mingle".

  • they only hate on atheist because they know we have all the evidence on our side and evolution woooo boy they cant stand that word

  • @patrickledford420 yea Christians have 0 proof but yet in the bible the devil killed less then 11 peopel god killed whole citys

now whos bad by there own bible?

  • Well mike1tm, thats strike two according to your mythical fairytales. Do not unto others etcetera. Oh and yes, I'm calling you an idiot and delusional, since youve proven that in under two posts! That must be some kind of record! And again yes, teaching children to have faith in your or any other god (like Wodan, Amun-Ra, Zeus) must end now. The educational (read that word a couple of times) system is NOT to be used for indoctrination of any kind, especiallt regarding superstition. Idiot.

  • I love how you morons call us delusional when you fools can't even grasp the basic concept of rationality. You say there is no God. How do you know that? You don't. So how to you claim the title atheist? Are you claiming absolute and complete knowledge of the universe (omniscience)? You have to if you say there is no God. What evidence do you have? None. Your whole idiotic atheistic position is based on nothing but simple abstract possibility. It is 100% intellectually indefensible.

  • Dear biased person, you should really get your definitions straight, since you are making a complete idiot out of yourself. Again. An atheist has lack of belief in a god, since there is no evidence whatsoever to support the claim. An atheists believes as much in god as you believe in Thor. No atheist can ever say that there absolutely is no god, but noone can say either that Amun-Ra doesnt exist. Atheists seek truth through science, instead of claiming to know it all through the bible. Idiot.

  • The burden of proof does not fall to us. We aren't the ones making the absurd claim. If I were to say fairies exist, I would have to provide evidence to support that claim. The skeptic would not be required to provide evidence they don't exist. Intelligent people do not believe in fairies because their is no evidence to justify that belief... I fail to see the difference between your belief in god and a belief in fairies, genies, or elves.

  • The burden of proof falls on atheists too. They claim that the universe came from nothing, and that we are here by accident and not by design. That is just as bold of a claim as saying we were created. Neither atheists nor creationists can prove their claims...yet atheists like to think that they don't have to, while the creationists do. Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. Atheists have made an "absurd" claim that demands evidence too...that something came from nothing.

  • The burden of proof is on you to prove that your sky-man exists.

  • The burden of proof is on you to prove that the universe came from nothing, and that our existence is an accident.

  • We can observe the universe expanding and cooling. We have observable data to support the big bang theory. We claim the universe originated from pure energy. You claim something can never come from nothing, therefore a god who came from nothing must of created it. Even if you consider the claim to be absurd, which it likely was at one time, evidence has been provided to support it. Hence, it is no longer an absurd claim. Your claim however continues to be absurd.

  • That still does not explain what caused the Big Bang, or what existed before it (if there was nothing, how could the Big Bang even occur?) No scientist can truly answer that question, yet atheists still make the claim that nothing existed, and something came from nothing. That is just as bold as saying we were created by an all powerful being. Neither are supported by evidence, and neither can be explained by science. Sorry, but the burden of proof lies on atheists as well.

  • I am not a scientist, but scientists do not claim to have all the answers. Simply because we can not answer every question regarding the universe does not mean that by default there must be a god. The Big Bang theory is simply the best theory the scientific community has based on the observable and testable evidence. You can't observe and test a god. If new evidence were to surface, scientists would be willing to edit the theory, make it a law (if it were un-refutable) or articulate a new one.

  • continued... you continue to miss the fact the big bang theory IS supported by evidence. I'm not exactly sure how saying there are things we simply don't know yet is absurd. I'm an anti-theist, not a scientist. To the main point, the only claim the atheist actually makes is that there is no god, which again, is not the absurd claim. It is the logical conclusion when evidence is not provided.

  • I never said I reject the Big Bang theory (you automatically assumed I reject it). I said despite the fact that scientists don't know what caused the Big Bang, or what came before it...atheists claim that there was nothing before it and nothing caused it to happen, yet they don't expect the burden of proof to fall on them for their claims.

  • You either believe that we are the creation of a divine being, or you believe that everything came from absolutely nothing. To say that one is absurd while the other is pure logic shows your bias. They are both beliefs that lack evidence and cannot be explained by science. They are both beliefs that neither atheists nor theists can prove or disprove. So, I say that the burden of proof lies on atheists just as much as it lies on creationists

  • For the sake of argument, we will assume everything you have said is true. One group according to you believes something we can verifiably prove exists was either infinite or came from nothing, whereas you believe something unfounded and unprovable is either infinite or came from nothing. Assuming, according to you, these are the two options, who is taking the leap of faith, and who does the burden of proof rely on? If interested in continuing this send me a message. Pain in ass with limits.

  • Ok, I will PM you.

  • You can claim there is a hole under that rug in the hallway. Now I say there is no hole. Lets suppose for some reason that rug cannot be lifted up. So this hole cannot be investigated until one walks over it.

I personally would walk around or go back.. However the idea of a hole in a floor hidden by an object is plausible.

If you made the claim that if I walked over the rug, evil demons in the attic would kill me. I would not hesitate to walk over that rug. I am not a child.

  • If we both agree the Big Bang is the best scientific explanation regarding the origin of the universe, I don't see what we are going back and forth about. The only claim atheists make is that there is no evidence of a god, therefor there is no logical reason to assume one exists. We do not claim to have knowledge of the universe others are not privy to.

  • @hotflame2009 By using the word accident you imply that a creator unwillingly created it, and we dont believe the universe came from nothing, I myself believe that nothingness is actually impossible, any how believing that a god just popped up is crazy.

  • I don't believe that a god just popped up. I believe God is eternal, and If you believe nothingness is impossible, than you must also believe in something that is eternal. When I used the word accident, I was not using the word in regards to God, I was using the word in regards to atheists. If you believe the universe did not come about as part of a plan or design, than you believe that it came about by accident.

BTW, I have met atheists who do believe that nothing existed before the big bang.

  • Yes but the term accident imply's that a being must have done it, and when i said i believe that nothingness is impossible i did state that i believe that i dont know about anyone else, its all to do with time which at the moment is hard to understand but it no way even suggests any form of supernatural being.

  • I've met Christians who believe that the earth is flat. You know that this "I believe in nothing" is a mere strawman, pretty much created by Christians, possibly based on a few real people, not the norm, not anything worth mentioning.

E = mc^2. Energy can be converted to matter, and matter to energy. There is no need for a God, nor is there a need for "nothing." Both arguments are yours and they're both wrong.

  • BTW, I've met religious people who believe in witches. So what. People believe in crazy things.

  • Intelligent creation has a flaw in logic. If we came from god where did god come from. "God always existed" well that answer doesn't follow your logic that intelligence and "perfectness" has to be created.

If our intelligence is a gift from god where did his intelligence come from. It didn't just magically appear did it?

If something looks like it was designed such as god then there must be a designer. This argument is flawed. There must be natural properties that caused an event creation.

  • There is no one on the internet that is more idiotic than a self proclaimed, self centered, delusional, "its all about me" atheist.

"Look at me, I'm so intellectual. I don't believe God exists."

What I really can't stand is the arrogance and the nastiness of you ass clowns and how you, in your fantasy world, think science in some odd way endorses your atheism. Give me a thumbs down on this one too you little cry baby girls.

  • Right. Us atheists raise churches. Us atheists claim we can "save" you. Us atheists claim that our god is the only one and you MUST obey, or suffer forever. Us atheists (and with that line you killed me) are living in a fantasy world (LOL). Us atheists refuse believers in public offices. Oh wait... that's you guys! Now, think sloooowly, who is the arrogant one here? The *burden of proof* for god lies with you, not I. Since *science* IS on our side. And you claiming thats weird only supports that.

  • How are we the delusional ones? We aren't the ones claiming there is an all-knowing magic man in the sky...
