well my neutral switch is located behind my sprocket cover its a round plate that have a ground wire to it, but i tried it and still nutn so im at a dead end again, im tryn everything i could think of, everything else work except spark to my plugs, thats all i need, i thought i needed new ignition coils but that wasnt it either, a new cdi box that wasnt it, stator with pickup coils thats not it i dont think but i got one anyway still nutn, im wondering if i have to set it right cause i dont know

i tried my ignition coils on my boys bike and they worked fine, he has the same exact bike as mine, same year and everything, so i ruled that out, people keep telling me about a tip ova switch somewhere on the bike that i mite have to find and reset, i looked ova the whole bike and im stuck still....i'll try anything ritenow....thanks....

get a good NGK spark plug. should start first go

mine was doing the same thing, i replaced the spark plugs with iridium plugs & she fired right up & runs sweeter than ever, hope you got her going mate.

@steller2000 my bike is not getn spark or lil spark any suggesstions for me to try, i thought i tried everything, everything is new except for the motor but i heard the bike runin b4 the guy sold to me, so i figured i could get it runin again, but i am so lost....yzf600....thanks junior

@steller2000 hey man, i jus noticed my neutral switch didnt have any screws holdin it on could this be the reason why i was not getn enuff spark to my coils cause that was the only thing i didnt check, im ready to put it bac 2gether to c, but if its not it ,im at a dead end again....thankz junior

@thatcutndude1 What do you mean by neutral switch, bro? The only thing that comes to mind is the foot lever. Please elaborate on that, so I could help you out!

@steller2000 ure a bell end haha a neutral switch is inside your engine and when u click into neutral a little ball pops into a socket and trigers the neatral switch lighting up the neatral light

dont listen to people bout the cam this and cam that, its the carburettor get a new one with a better choke, i had a chinese bike and she was a BITCH to start until i did the carb.

when it almost starts it sounds like your cam chain has snapped take the casing off and check that before you do anything or you will bugger your engine for good. if its not that then start with the basics 1.battery with full charge.2 fit new plugs. 3.fresh fuel.4.fit new starter solonoid 5.fit new plug leads do all the above and then try it. hope it works for you

Your battery sounds week as hell, but Darrenj is right I would drain all of the existing fuel.
