you shouldnt be able to see side to side in that jaw with camera that close, but you can...small croc and small jaws. check out "Crocodile attacks Steve Irwin NEW footage found" - much larger jaws and camera isnt even in it....
@xismxist It's a wide-angle lens, which has the effect of making objects in front of the camera appear smaller than they are. That's what enables you to see a wider angle. Using a standard 50mm lens would have made the interior of the mouth appear larger, but with much less visible in the field of view. If you're somehow implying that this is a small crocodile, please check the international media coverage for Lolong (dated 8-9 November) where the measurement was witnessed by dozens of media.
@crocodiliandotcom Actually Dr. Britton, he is doubting and has been somewhat riling people up and questioning your measurements and credentials in the comments section of this video youtube.com/watch?v=cTLZGmKOgwg . So really, if he spams this video too, don't bother with him (or her?). It's a wonderful thing you do for crocodiles. Thank you for going all the way out there in the marshland to measure that beautiful animal, and for everything you do for crocs.
@ggirl143 Thanks for the comments, it was pretty special measuring that crocodile. As for xismxist he's clearly just a young kid let loose on a computer somewhere. I said all I'm going to say to him in my blog comments after he started on that. Unless he miraculously grows up of course, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
@ggirl143 the one who is supposed to measured this fraud has a blog(!) and need i even say its moderated? so its more about his moment in the spotlight than the croc, kinda amazing that he has nothing better to do than moderating a blog wow but i guess its about being famous and get some monney... and this is the guy who went there and measured this fraud? (LOL) just more evidence thats all this is bullshit
how in the hell did u get this footage bro? was he drugged up when u did this? anyways, i gotta know...how massive was he in person? any other info would be sweet. thanks
@linkavitchC Yes, his welfare during measurement was very important so I gave him a mild sedative - enough to slow him down, prevent injury and reduce stress. He was still active so we had to take care, but it was worth risking a GoPro camera to get some cool shots! He was very massive, far bigger than any croc I've seen. Straddling his body to take measurements was an effort. Less crocodile, more dinosaur. There's more at crocodilian.blogspot.com under Lolong.
@crocodiliandotcom dude, i just saw your pic on your profile. is this ADAM BRITTON!? i know adam is in the video, but not sure if this is u. anyways, i have been a huge fan for years. your a legend when it comes to us crocodile fanatics. again, if it is you, then i hope one day to get to darwin and meet u. would love to hear some stories someday in the future. take care!
