The reason gay and straight people watched The L Word is because it was hot women living in LA in Melrose Place type fashion. Watching a reality show about a bunch of women whom I would never want to sleep, or want anyone to know that I've slept with, and with whom are of the lowest moral standards is not entertainment, it's just gross.
