@obliterationX yeah, you still have the sword. Level 2 must be hard-coded so that you start with the sword regardless of what happened in Level 1.

Likewise, in the sequel there's a way to bypass a point where you lose your sword, but you still won't have it in the next level.

The "jump through soldier" trick can be done on the DOS version, but it is bloody hard! I have only a 5% chance of doing it once. As for the sword, the game automatically gives it to you once you reach Level 2. This glitch saves you a lot of time, but it's useless if you are struggling to get it right.

Yes you do. For some reason you appear on level 2 with the sword.

In the DOS version is possible to jump through the soldier? In other versions it is, indeed. But I don't think so in the DOS one.
