These climate change "believers" are reling upon models that have been repeatedly shown to be be flawed. These people have been selected based upon their commitment to the alarmist ideology. We still have the same amount of carbon on the earth as we had a million years ago. The difference is that over time Mother Nature has removed the carbon form the air and stored it safely underground as coal, oil and gas.
