Dreamy salsa grooves! Love this. In fact I love all house music from this time....big tune in Mancland this...when it used to drop the airhorns would go off and it was like being beamed to another planet where they had E's and salsa house!
Quality cultured Latino stylee house! Great for dancing to, if you can last out the whole song! Swing those hips, move those feet and shake yo ass! Wahey!
LOL 22yrs later i find out this is by Richie Rich. I can't remember the name of the record shop in tottenham his studio was in the back of now?? I got him to sign my copy of 'check it out' or was it 'don't be flash'??
Oh man this track was like, OK fella, you've had a top night, you've been as high as you've ever been and you've probably pushed it a bit, but it's time to come back and it's gonna be alright :-)
QUALITY! VERY DANCABLE! CLASSIC LATIN SOUL HOUSE! DEFINITELY NEED MORE NEW DANCE SONGS LIKE THIS ON THE RADIO, RATHER THAN ALL THE COMMERCIALLY, ROBOTIC, FORMULAIC, PREDICTABLE AND REHASHED NAFF SO-CALLED 'DANCE MUSIC' THATS BEEN RELEASED IN THE LAST 10 YEARS...!!
my old man used to drive around the M25, I used to go with him just to tune into pirate radio from London Town - I had this off-key walkman with FM etc. - anyway, I was holding the headphone wire up high and I caught Rave 99.3 (I think) playing this about 11pm, beautiful track, I can't describe that "underground" vibe that came with the FM dial back then?
know the feeling and the frustration when depending where you were and what you were listening too the static came in - i listened to from about 1982 to about 1993 - jazz-funk > acid house > hardcore - great times to live around London.
The way the synths came in at the start made my Adrenalin go even after all those years, alongside Can u feel it, Promised Land, this will epitomise 87-88 in the UK (it was the maddest!).
This is a good driving song for driving long distance.I REMEMBER this song while working at Iron clade (trashbag company) we jamed this song hard after a hard days work 12 hours shift.on a payday friday
Crazy memories from this! One of the best classics! You can already see how house was branching out and getting influence from other types of music. Right from the get go you knew house was something special!

The underground clubs... huge dance parties, inovative fashion... I've never experienced anything like it... without sounding old...today's 19 year olds have no f@#$ing idea just what an amazing time they missed out on.

i'd sell my soul to the devil' to be taken back to a dancefloor in 1988/89' with my closest buddies' totally off our nuts' felt like eutopia for a couple of hours''.
@liqwidnitwit Im with you. I havent been able to move forward ever since. Im stuck there lol Theres just nothing thats even come close to those two years.
1989 walking down Oxford steet looking for some clothes, heard this comming from MASH and went down stairs. People were raving to this track 2.00 pm on a Saturday afternoon in a shop!!!!!!!. I bought two copies and mixed to my hearts content when I got home.
i'd sell my soul to the devil' to be taken back to a dancefloor in 1988/89' with my closest buddies' totally off our nuts' felt like eutopia for a couple of hours''.peace an love.
just like ther rest of you lads, i wish i was there too . back in the late 80's ,in my hooded top (before they were notorious) kickers & my £10 draw, running round london looking for the warehouses to rave all night .what have i got now ?
a nagging wife and sky telly...... i miss it so much !!!!!!
Then get off yer arse & go out & dance to these trax my friend ! If yer wife wont go with u, go on yer own. I'm 56 now ~ still feel 28 ~ and still luvvin it.
Off to Min.of S. on Sun 2nd for some old House !! Try & stop me !
haha for thoz of us connected to e.d.m. from the start(i'm 41 now)...we're kept young at heart by the beatz...thanx for your comment, reminded me why i still feel like a kid, 'why "kids"('been to an all-ages event w/in last few months) seem tired nowadaze! haha
Hey ~ thanx for that ! And u kno what else? ~ kids dont dance or even MOVE anymore in clubs ~ they just stand & point ~ what the fuk is that all about????
Its was the same back then, bad boys used want to fight me cos I had moves. Little did they know I loved violence almost as much as dancing and posing!!!!
Wow this jam reminds me of the copa in new york city. Partying with my boys, yo nelson, disco al, black al, book em dano, lil louie, jake the snake, crazy ass vito & who ever else came along. We slept w/ women 10yrs oldr than us. Miss those days. We were underage 16, 17 partying with 25yr old cats.
Great track, up there with th top 20 off all acid house classics! Remember that buzz of stepping out my mates XR3i in a muddy puddle of the m8 and hearing this blasting from almost half a mile away!! Good times-- keep it up young team!!!
what a beat, crazy!

1989 walking down Oxford steet looking for some clothes, heard this comming from MASH and went down stairs. People were raving to this track 2.00 pm on a Saturday afternoon in a shop!!!!!!!. I bought two copies and mixed to my hearts content when I got home.

Ahh the memories. Wallaby tops, wallaby shoes and kickers. Even used to leave the kicker tag hanging off 'em! Happy days indeed!
