The new Battle System are 4 rings which act as Strength, Defense, Hit Points, and Action Points modifiers, you buy them and the weapons that you hold only make it seem like you're attacking with it. Then there's an EXP and Level Up System, so called Rare Rings, and the like. Not a ton of fun, but hey, I'll give it a spin.

It's been announced at one point in time that the DI/MCs won't be of use to us Gaians in the battle system. They will have a whole new set of weaponry, armor, and such-- but, this is all to prevent the oldbies with the Demonic Pitchforks, and other hard to get DI/MCs from over running the newbies with their lack of items.
