Looks and sounds like you had a blast. I've never gone to an amusement park because I've worried about accessibility. How about health care stations? or whatever they might name it, with hopefully a nurse, minimal emergency medical help etc. until an ambulance could arrive. Any info. on that for us epilepsy folks? We can of course wear helmets and all, but if we go into status epilepticus it would help to have some kind of minimal health care on site.
COOL, disney land is fun, I like that I don't have to be in line to go on the rides. My friends got really happy with me. Yea you have to prove your really in the wheelchair because you need it, but I got past that quick. I have fun with people who are paid to be nice. :-) If that was the same person I had to talk to, I will laugh so hard I'll need a breathing tube up my butt. hahahahahaha!
I went to disney with the dreams take flight, it was pretty awesome lol! i was like 9 and got spoiled rotten! as far as your comment about people who can push their chairs from the ride shouldn't get a pass, i might have miss understood but i agree and dis agee, because i can physically push my wheelchair but as for getting on and off rides my body just doesn't do that, but if your saying it in the context of the person is disabled but can walk a little then i fully understand what you mean
that is so awesome you both got to go to Disney World. i have always wanted to go there ever since i was a lil kid. I have always wondered about the accessiblity also. I'm glad Disney World is accessbility friendly. thats always a wonderful thing to hear.
