I don't mind dubs at all. In fact, I find them better than japanese versions 99.9% of the time! But Sunohara's dub voice is straight up awful D: He sounds waaaay better in japanese.
Although I do prefer the Japanese, I think Sentai did a pretty good job on the voice actors. I thought the voices were generally okay, and they didn't bother me like I thought they would, so I think the dub is pretty good.

Greg Ayres worked for Negi because, well, Negi is a kid. It just doesn't work for Sunohara. The English directors chose him because people were familiar with him, not because he'd do a good job. That's how it is for a lot of movies/shows.

The only anime I would prefer the ENG dub over the JP dub was Cowboy Bebop. I would say Ghost in the Shell as well, but I only would like the ENG dub because it would of been impossible to understand what's going on in the series from just reading subs, lol.

Greg Ayres(Sunohara) is a good vocie actor, but since they had him pitch up his voice for this, he sounds terrible. If he used his normal voice for this, or maybe just a teensy bit higher than his normal pitch, he'd be fine.

Calm down. The anime was made around the Japanese voice actors. Their mouths are left open during a sigh or during an exaggeration of a word. "Realistic person.. like the Japanese tend to do?" OH MY GOD. T-T. This is the biggest humiliation of English Voice actors EVER! I can't believe it. Sunohara is not a toddler! HE'S A FREAKING HIGHSCHOOLER! oh my god I'm so embarassed to be American right now. I can't believe they could ever voice an anime without even knowing the characters names! T-T. So dissappointed. At 1:27 my ears almost fell off. I've NEVER EVER seen anything this disugusting in my liife.

HOLY SHIT English dub on all anime suck balls the translation and voice actors are retarded but like really this has got to be one of the worst I have ever heard in my life, who the fuck thought such a voice would suit Sunohara.... So do you mind explaining why every one loves to bash dubs so much when the english voice actors portray a much more realistic person instead of just overexaggerating everything like the Japanese tend to do?

Calm down. The anime was made around the Japanese voice actors. Their mouths are left open during a sigh or during an exaggeration of a word. "Realistic person.. like the Japanese tend to do?" This is Japanese, they made it how they are. They don't do everything exactly like Americans, Brit's or Canadians, be a bit more considerate.

@Masterpivot292 Sorry. Im just angry that so many people bash the dubs. Dubs have greatly improved and very few people seem to notice this. I mean I grew up with a lot of these voice actors and I have grown accustomed to hearing them. But I can see why people would watch subs for something 4 kids related.
