i`m colombian...exactley from Medellin, i just don`t understand why the colombian movies are always about violence colombia is no longer the same country that was in the "escobar" season....all violence and drugs.....the security in the country you call "third world country" is becoming better than before...but i`d like that you people could watch the other "colombian face" so i hope it change your mind....THANK YOU......
@naragland well for me it`s normal because a haven`t ever lived in USA the economy in colombia is good if you`re a professional person i think the best job that anyone could apply could be...a specialist in medicine or a human resources representative..somethink like that..but i think is good....you must come here then you could decide if you want to stay....

Think of this people.
She comes to America and gets a few thousand from smuggling drugs. The U.S. economy is in the toilet. Her relative living in New York is living in a shit hole. How much better was it for her to come here? She might have, at best, a 5% chance of making it with a kid and a good job that pays a little above minimum wage. The reality is that she will live on welfare. It would have been better for her to stay in her "own country" with her boyfriend willing to care for her.
where do you live? I live in Los Angeles...it is a third world country. every company i go to goes out of business, I struggle to get a job that pays good money and benefits...i can type 50 words per minute and i've been making the same 10 dollars since 1998 and can't make any more because I'm a temporary worker for now who never takes a day off since starting last September in my new job. You don't know my conditions I live in. Plus I have no health care and no chance of retirement.
