I can't believe it's been a year now Linda since you left us. I think of you often and I still miss you so very much. I do find comfort in knowing you are in a better place and that you are looking after all our precious babies. Till we meet again my friend.

Shocked at the news and am crying tears of love for Linda, her family and friends. I too was one of the lucky ones who had contact with a beautiful person that exuded love.

Thanks for you caring comments, yes it has been very difficult; however, after three days of mourning and disturbing dreams mixed with insomnia, I am finally accepting her passing. But, as I once said here, she has always been with me in spirit over the years--that kind of friendship survives the distance and time. I'm glad that she had so many cyber friends who recognized something special in her. Reading the comments helps.

Just one last comment--today is the funeral and I dearly ly wish I could be there to say goodbye, but it is just not in the cards to make this trip, I haven't been back to NY since I left years ago. My heart is with the family today as she is laid to rest next to Randy.

I know, I wish I could've been there too, even though I never met her in person. It's amazing the bonds you can form with someone by just writing back and forth. She was such a special lady and such a dear friend to so many. Please stop by anytime.

I am an old friend of Linda--best friends for 10 years. Then I moved away and we lost track of each other, until I found her in 2005 and we talked on the phone. . I just couldn't believe she is gone.

I love you Linda and miss you, but you were always in my heart anyway and because of you and the years we were so close, you never left me really--I consider myself lucky to have known you.

I know it, I still can't believe she's gone either. I just talked to her on the phone on Labor Day, and I was planning on calling her sometime this week. I can't believe how fast this all happened. I'm sure you were always in her heart too, Jane. When we're so close with someone, we never forget each other, even if we live far apart. Now Linda, her son & Sadie are all together in heaven.

Her youngest son called me Wednesday night--I just couldn't believe it. He is he one who told me about her youtube videos and told me her moniker. Yesterday I found her other moniker and the dedication video from July. It broke my heart--there was Randy as I remembered him. It was a shock to my now-grown sons who grew up with him and her family, knowing Linda was my special friend. I know she was happy these last years and now I know something else about her--the youtubes! It figures :-).

I can only imagine how difficult all of this is for you since you were friends with her for so long and your sons grew up together. Yes, she told me herself what a good life she's had and she was at peace. I feel comforted knowing that.
