I too was was on my feet when Newt addressed John Kings stupid, yet anticipated, 2nd wife question. His answer hit the ball out of the park, as Newt was really speaking for a lot of other people, including myself, about the left-winged media. And, there is no question that Newt would tear "President" Obama a new one, in a one-on-one debate. However, I question as to whether or not this kind of thing appeals to the Independent voter, which will be necessary to knock Obama off his high-horse.

@lonewolf031 There are only two elegible GOP candidates: Ron Paul and Mitt Romney (if you don't count that his father was a foreign national, like "Barack's" was). NOBODY else is legit because they cannot win enough delegates at this point (i.e. not on the ballot in enough states). From that point of view, keeping the field full is a tactic to reduce the air-time that Dr. Paul would otherwise get. Cheers.
