I got this on my 3DS and I swear this is the hardest Zelda game ever,they don't tell you where to go or nothing. Shit every game on the NES was pretty challenging even Super Mario Bros lol.

Oh and for those of you who are playing this, to refill your hearts, go up to where the bridge is twords the east cross it and head where the Postion Lady is( the hole in the green hill one sreen east from the bridge You gave the letter to) head north one screen, then east again past the moblins then north through the (Brown or Red) CREVAS, Theres a Fary Fountain there.

Hey Caleb, I have this game as a reward by nintendo (I'm an ambassador) I'm playing this game on my 3ds. But when I save and come back on my file, I start out with only 3 hearts. So I always need to go off killing some enemies to refill my hearts. Does this happen in the original? It's kind of annoying

@Danieldx22 For the 3DS version, go on your item screen by pressing start, Then you Hold L and R then press Y whilst you hold L and R, a tiny game thing should appear at the courner saying 2 after you pressed the buttons. You can let go now. Then hold the "UP" Button while you press A. A new screen would appear saying Continue, save and retry. Hold L and R whilst pressing Y to make you go back to 1. choose save

You didn't need to kill the dodongos, just to up to the first screen with the 3 mummies, and plant a bomb in the side of the wall. Then to another bomb to get to the darknuts.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it before but the Dino things can be stunned by bombs then killed with your sword, rather then dropping 2 bombs in their path. Sometimes this is a bit easier to do.

I love Zelda. But, Bosses should be unique. They shouldn't be fought once, and then made into enemies in dungeons...

I know a shortcut to killing Dodongos. Try putting two bombs right immediately after each other. The Dodongo eats the first and is frozen by the second. Then hit him with your sword and you may even get bombs from it.

The original Nes pads has a microphone in it, so you don't need to use the whistle, You just got to shout into that microphone to kill the 5th boss :)

u can use the sword to beat the dodongo. use 2 bombs.. he has to eat the first one, the second one should explode in his face which will weaken him enough to use the sword on him. (it always gives 4 bombs when u defeat them like that)

There is also a ncie trick to kill Dodongo´s. If the bomb explodes a little early and they walk into the smoke they are stunned. You can kill them with one sword stroke and they give each time new bombs.

The Polsvoice (correct?) in the Famicom version has to be rendered deaf by speaking into the mic of the 2nd controller to simulate Link shouting at it. This blew my balls off when I was a kid because no other system at the time can do that.

Why didn't you go down? You went into all the other rooms in the game.

You can kill the Dodongo with one bomb, but you have to hit it in the side, then use your sword on it. They are also more likely to drop an item at that point.
