  • I'm playing catch-up but am rooting for your success! I think you're right about aiming day-by-day. The meditation will be maximized with your fast. I'm working on strengthening my meditation practice so we'll definitely have to share some experiences. Be well and will rap to you soon.

  • Yusuf! So glad ur keeping up w/the vids! the majority of meditations aim to cycle down ur brainwave frequencies to below beta speeds (beta: 12-30 Hz). the most common are 8-12Hz (Alpha), 4-8Hz (Theta), and ~0-4 Hz (Delta). The lower the frequencies, the more in touch u become with the more subliminal functions of your body, ie regulation of heart rate, bp, even body temperature. while fasting, EVERYTHING is slowed down, and slower brainwaves are more naturally reached.   • teaches you to dis-identify. while fasting, it feels as though everything is being stripped from your life, so meditation is really inevitable and everyday that you choose to continue this stripping away, you are deepening the part of your Self, that does not identify.

  • Have you tried an enema? I read the curezone water fast forum. And some have suggested enemas.

  • I hope it doesn't come to that:) so far I still have faith in my body's natural ability. Well see at day 20:)
