  • Jermaine was tagged to be the LEAD, but Berry Gordy and Diana Ross decided to sway their dad to put Mike up because people(the record buying public) would accept a little cute kid instead of a tween-ager!! J-5 fan from the very start!!!

  • And when i say Jackie, marlon and Tito=0 what Im saying is that they were not getting as much attention as michael and Jermaine. When you heard any girls mention the Jackson 5 most of their conversations centered around Michael and Jermaine!

  • You're probably too young to remember, They use to do a slow dance called "Social" to this song.

It was a slow grinding dance.

  • THE LYRICS...THE LYRICS....THE LYRICS...

  • Classic

  • Hazel broke up the group.

  • @Nickleby2..you must be on heroin....Mike had all thegirls in his age group fiending after him so did the others depending which age group, for example older girls liked Jackie...including OPRAH herself and so on.

  • @oldschoolskillz

Actually, by the time Mj turned teenager his nose got too big for his little face, his face was infested with Acne and he was balling to his momma because his fans called him ugly. Added to that was the rumour that he was gay and was about to have a sex change to marry his gay lover. MJ was never ever seen as a sex symbol of J5, cute yea, sexy no. Why do you thing there was rumour that he was asexual. Yes, Jermaine and Jackie were the ones teenagers anchor for.

  • @Nickleby2 Im willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that first of all you are not black, second Im willing to bet that if you are, you were not even born when the jackson 5 were in thier hay-day because if you were, you would not even make such stupid ass accusations to oldschoolskillz. But he must be fake also, because if he were truly old school he would check yo punk-ass wit da truth!! It was Michael first that the young girls were after, and Jermaine for the older girls.Jackie,Marlon,Tito=0

  • @77757891 Not many girls were shouting for Mj by the time he turned teenager, unless they were prepubercent and was too young to think about anything but music. The fact is that Jermaine was the most popular of the Jackson boys. He was voted teenage idol of the year and best dressed and best hairstyle. They even did write ups about his 'button nose' funny, since Mj became upsessed with his nose. But it was MJ that complained about fans calling him ugly and gay. Hardly popularity contest there.

  • @Nickleby2 And you need to stop being rude, you make your people look bad. I was never rude to you. Stop calling me punk ass. I am not a punk, I came from a born again christian community, I went to university and taught hundreds of children in London for many years. I don't think I qualify as a punk. I am just sharing my point of view on the subject. you may not agree with me but you don't have to be aggressive or rude about it.

  • WOW!WHAT MEMORY,THIS WAS THE SONG THAT I HAD MY FIRST SLOW DANCE , I WAS 16(LADIES CHOICE)BACK IN THE DAY 1972,AT THE NEWTOWN REC,CENTER SARASOTA FLA-DWS '74/75-RIVERVIEW HIGH

  • Marlon has been married to the same woman since he was 19. I think Rebbie is still married to her first husband as well. I believe they are the only two.

  • @amiblueful You're right, they're the only 2 out of that family that are still with their spouses til this day, they never got divorced!

  • Jermaine didn't get the recognition that Michael did, but he has a great voice. Too bad he didn't go quite as far as his brother. Not saying that Michael wasn't GREAT. Not taking anything away from him, but Jermaine didn't get the same recognition -- not from his father Joe either.

  • @stance56

Jermaine did get the recognition. He had 30 chart topping singles. One of his songs stayed at number one for 6 weeks. He was the leading solo artist in the family until \MJ dropped \Thriller. \jermaine received a birthday cake on top of the pops here in Britain for his 25 birthday. He was an international star, but with MJ as a brother, younng people tend to forgot that because he wasn't as loud as Michael. Also Jermaine started his solo career before the video age, which propelled MJ

  • @Nickleby2 Michael's solo career began before Jermaines actually. I don't like you. You seem to be a troll who is obsessed with Michael I saw you on other videos before. You're no jermaine fan if you diss Mike all the time.

  • @freedrugsLACentral

I do not care whether you like me or not. The truth got to be told. I don't care when Mj's solo career start. All the Jackson boys were given solo recprds, some were successful and some were not. Both Jermaine and \Mj's were successful. Jackiees never took off. Berry Gordy lost interest in J5 because he was branching out into movies. Joe took his boys away because he wanted them to do more in music.

  • @freedrugsLACentral

Jermaine and his wife worked together as executive producer for Motown records. He wrote songs and he produced the likes of Switch, the Debarge and Stephney Mills, among others. He also worked and produced with Stevie Wonder. 30 of Jermaine's singles were in the top 40 billboard. One of his albums were nominated for grammy. Not bad for someone who started his solo career before the advent of the video age and who sings RnB, not pop.

  • OH WHAT MEMORIES FROM THIS SONG, IT WAS SUCH A HIT THANKS FOR THIS NICE POSTING...

  • All I know is I love the Jacksons "NO MATTER WHAT" They are family to me. I grew up with Them.

  • We were involve in the Jackson Five Mini Series and keeping it real in my opinion Jermaine was the dude that had all the girls screaming back in the days.....good memories.....of real Music....tha R&Beast........

  • @rrrickster3137

Yes, a lot of MJ fans don't know that Jermaine was voted teenage idol of the year, best dressed man, best Afro, best school athlete, sexiest nose, All the girls wanted to marry him and all the boys wanted to be like him, so that they could get the girls. Poor Mj didn't get a look in, he used to go cry to his momma. Probably the real reason for the plastic surgery.

  • let's not forget Jermaine has a strong beautiful voice also!

    still missin Mj:(

  • Mama ... Oh Mama I found that girl

Mama ... Oh Mama I found that girl

Mama life for me now is a new sensation

Just like you said it would be - with the right situation...

  • I think Jermaine and Marlon past one back and forth didn't they?

  • @wreepeet Jermaine married one of Randy's ex wives. Plus the two brothers have children from the SAME woman. That's nasty (dog like) to pass around through the family, then to act as though he (Jermaine) has found true love, huh.

  • @bodacious2109 Yeah , i knew it went something like that. ......... that is pretty sick

  • @bodacious2109 Randy and Alejandra never married infact you probably read that book that one of Jermaine's ex-wives wrote called "Jackson Family Values" that Randy was cheating on his now ex-wife Eliza with Alejandra but after Jermaine's common law wife left him? he married Alejandra and Randy didn't speak to him for while after that!

  • @wreepeet I believe it was Randy and Jermaine. Marlon, I believe was married to the same woman for years.

  • @wreepeet

no it was Jermaine who married Randy's ex-wife(they both had kids by the same woman :/ ik thts sick.)

Marlon and his wife have been married for 36 years :)

  • @kikih71 NO IT IS NOT.

  • @kikih71

Jermaine did not marry Randy's ex-wife. Randy was only ever married ONCE to Eliza Shaffe. Randy was cheating on his wife with Alejandra. They had finished their relationship when Jermaine fell in love with her and married her. Nothing new. Princess Diana also married her sisters exboyfriend, ie prince charles.

  • They had some beautiful wives

  • Tito's wife is PRETTY.

  • Jermaine great voice.....the perm,not a good look

  • that was a great put together video of them those were my boys growing up.i could hit micheal notes but my style was more like jermaine.shame they don't tour i can afford to go now.but there's always youtube.thanks

  • jermain could have easily led the jackson5

  • @maxtechjam Jermaine was indeed the first lead singer before Michael joined the group. He led many songs with the J5

  • @maxtechjam

thats absolutely true..Jermaine has a a beautiful soulful voice. I think he made a mistake by leaving Jackson 5 too soon. He should have stayed longer, establish himself a bit more and as a solo artist he would have easily been another Marvin Gaye.

  • Jermaine & Hazel were our black royal couple, complete with a royal wedding!

  • Not a big Jermaine fan but this song is pretty and his voice is amazing. After Mj and Janet, he's the most talented Jackson

  • This was like the most beautiful song that I had ever heard, but I was only like 10. I fell in love with Jermaine that day....

  • I know Randy isn't an "official" Jackson 5 but I always felt it wasn't fair that he was left out of so much. He joined the group only 2 years after they were signed onto Motown. He's been with them from almost from the beginning but hardly acknowledged. Michael said his father always referred to him as "a filler".

That must have really hurt. I've got a real soft spot for Randy :-) And Randy was the one that found Mesereau for Michael. Michael said that Randy "saved my life".

  • New Edition STOLE and reconfigured this for Jealous Girl but they never fooled ole skoolers like me. I recognized it as a poor copy of a GREAT original.

  • This song is a B-side of "The Love You Save" from 1970 by the Jackson 5 on Motown Records and released as Motown 1166. Also taken from the group's Motown LP: "ABC"

  • honestly this song is mad underated its one of my favorites by the jacksons

  • i cant stop listening to this song and when i cant listen to it, its in my head.... i love this!!!! thank u for posting this!

  • my soul rises, thanks for posting ...

  • Happy 56 Bday The Great Jermaine Jackson u had the 70's on lock and killed this song

  • @MrTremoney718 Gurlz would pass out at concerts and they'd have to call for an ambulance when Jermaine fronted this song. Even Michael's leads couldn't do that.

  • @tonywallacess45 really/ like beatles type passing out?

  • HAPPY 56TH BIRTHDAY, JERMAINE LA JAUNE JACKSON!!

  • The JACKSON Family are one of the kind talented kids of all time

  • This song reminds me of Foshay Jr. High School in the early 1970s and the loveliest girl in there, bar none, Dianne Johns. There were other great gals there, but she was at the top of the list. Good memories.

  • This song was released in May 1970 as Motown 1166 as the b-side to "The Love You Save" and was written by "The Corporation"

  • mike looks so serious in the last pic

  • Tito's wife DeeDee was beautiful May she R.I.P i cant believe she died the way she did.. Breaks my heart.. Enid Spann (Jackie Jackson's Ex-Wife) was pretty, Jackie shouldnt have cheated on her.. lol May she R.I.P too.. & Marlons wife was beautiful. :] Great Pictures you have its great

  • how did DeeDee and Enid die????...and when?

  • Comment removed

  • why wasnt tito charged....?????....

  • @darrylhaynes Im sorry it wasnt tito. Her other husband.

  • i see....how are you today...

  • @darrylhaynes They divorced before her death she married someone else.

  • Great video!

  • awww...i wish michael found somebody that didnt want him for his money. all he wanted was somebody to love.

  • i got to hear the live version, somebody needs to upload it!!

  • @yankees2000ms I know...in '70 he performed this song. Wouldn't be great if a concert from back then, with this song on it, could be released on video?

  • @nutothis1 yeah i count agree more well if you check out jackson 5 live at the forum a new released all live cd it has two live performances of "i found that girl"!!

  • No wonder Jermaine got 8 kids! Good looking brother back then!

  • WONDER HOW THIS WOULD HAVE SOUNDED IF MICHAEL SANG THIS

  • @lightnignfiretamer they could have left off the pic of michael and lisa

  • @ranmae57 I agree.

  • @lightnignfiretamer Little Mickey was bad back then. He tore up 'Who's Lovin You', live, and in the studio. Also, keep in mind that Jermaine was co-lead singer. As much as I loved Mike up until the end, I have to say that this song belonged to Jermaine. I remember seeing Jermaine for the first time - playing that guitar and singing this song. It belonged to him, although their mom said that Mike wanted to sing like Jermaine.

  • JERMAINE KILLT IT WITH IT THIS ONE UNDERRATED VOCALIST BUT JERMAINE KILLED IT WITH THIS ONE HES NO MICHAEL BUT THIS IS A NICE SONG

  • @lightnignfiretamer But remember, he and Mike were co-leads, also. Even though Mike sang lead on most of their songs.

  • when the jacksons were black , they were awsome, when they changed , they changed. go back to your roots, you are hebrew.love the jacksons.

  • @lightnignfiretamer no one said jermaine couldn't sing! he more r&b!

  • very very lovely video! great job! can you please tell me where that video is from of Jackie holding the puppy and Marlon with the camera? Anybody?

  • deja-vu is right own time here! gee i wuz a kid 12 years old in 1970 and they were playing this when i wuz in summer camp. sure brings back sum good memories of my life back then when i had a good stable home life. this is one of the jackson 5 best songs/

  • i love this video

  • Thanks Alljacksons for the post..takes me back to when I first saw them perform it live in 1970!! I wish there was a live version of this song.

  • It was nice to see Germaine with Hazel! That was when love was, let's go to White Castle and get some onion rings and cheese burgers...Young innocent love. Nice seeing all of the older Jacksons with their first wives. Michaels was much later, with Marie. Nether the less, she was his wife of 3 years. Thanks for sharing! I so enjoyed this video and song.

  • @Contessais4u No she was his wife from 1994 to early 1996 and that's when 11 months after their divorce? he married Rowe and Rowe was pregnant with Prince at the time so his marriage to Marie lasted 2 in a half years!

  • Too bad Mikey overshadowed this guy. I mean as far as a youngster having a UNIQUE & MATURE soulful voice that appealed to adults as well Jermaine and Clarence Burke (of The 5 Stairsteps) were the 2 GREATEST of all time!!!

  • @PetePeterkin It probably wasn't Mike so much, as it was BG who overshadowed Jermaine. I remember when Never Can Say Goodbye was released. The B-side was 'She's Good'. My sister just happened to play, b/c we used to like to play B-sides to hear how they sounded. Our friends and my sister called the radio station to request the song. Jermaine performed it in concert. This and I Found That Girl should have been released as two separate records.

  • The reason why they showed MJ and Lisa Marie Pressley is because of the song I Found that Girl they wanted all the married brothers pictures shown.

  • beautiful song

  • WoW.....I want a Jermaine and Hazel Wedding when I get married!!!!

  • cool video

  • This was really fun...That was my jam post high school

  • Capone, you have been my homeboy, my counselor, my protector and my teacher. We have been in each others lives for over 30 years. I am HONORED, that you Love ME! Thank you for this song. Love Pookie

  • coool

  • Cmon..I can't believe the author put the pic of Micheal and presley's daughter in this video..

  • Great video!

  • Ohhhhhhhhh i love this video hw sweet they were looking everybody especially I loved Jermaine and Marlon's couple most............ :)

  • These clips really bring home to me how different Michael was from his brothers. He had a really detached personal development in a lot of respects.

  • byan85 you make a good point. I think in spite of it all Michael grew up to be a strong, sensitive and calculating individual. This guy was no wimp. I want to believe he was mostly happy.

  • yes,he wasn't like other guys.

  • 2:33-2:37

where is it from? please answer!! i looooove jermaine & his brothers i'm in love with jermaine :( / :)

  • Jackie And Enid Were A BEAUTIFUL COUPLE! HE SOOOO FINE AND SHE IS SOOO PRETTY..So sad she passed though =( I Know she is resting in peace.

  • is that hazel on 1:37

  • yes

  • I wonder how it was back in those days of 1960s and 70s.

  • I grew up in that era,it all I can say is that I am thankful for the precious memories. I grew up on the music of the Jackson 5.

  • i love this song

  • I loved Hazel and Jermaine together. I hate they broke up.

  • Tito's wife was beautiful.

  • @amiblueful and he has never married anyone else, so he must have loved her!

  • @amiblueful I think you mean Jermaine's wife. She's the bride in this video. It is Berry Gordy's daughter.

  • @stance56

    No, I definately meant Tito's wife. :-)

  • i really cant stop watching this, lol this song is the song i want my future husband to play for me on my wedding! (: i love it sooo much..but i LOVE The Jacksons more! (:

  • my father had the 8 track with this song on it. i played this song over and over. i loved it. i lost my father last year. now michael is gone. i miss you daddy. rip michael...

  • so classic thanks to jermaine for this song and the memories..jackson five you'll always be loved and never forgotten for eveyone growing up with yall back in the day.

  • Beautiful video<3

    Thank you for sharing :)

  • thanks for the years of memories.

  • Farewell Michael Jacksson, and god bless you Jackson 5 I'll always remember you and you will always have a special place in my heart and memory

  • Oh my sweet Lord!! Growing up in the Boyle Heights section of Los angeles in the early 70's cruising around my hood in my bike with mt friends ,so young with all the family I loved still around. Nice memory!

  • @OldMrMemories Did you ever see them at the Forum? We saw them when they regularly appeared at the Cow Palace (San Francisco). Remember when their tour schedule was listed? We used to also call the radio station to find out when they would appear in our area. Yes...those were the days. I am claiming to meet them one day. The Brothers really seem "real".

  • @nutothis1 No, I never got to see them. I had all the records though.

  • Jermaine !!! <3 Sounds Really good good , & im kinda young , And i know this . Probbly Being around it growning up . But eah , He's Great .

  • wow! thank u soo much for this video!! (: i have been looking everywhere for these pics! lol all those girls were so dang lucky!!

  • o0o love it...

  • Wow!! ...I LOVE this song.... it brought back sooooo many memories from my youth. I grew up on the Motown sound and the Jackson's and I are around the same age(Michael and Jermaine..I am in between both of their ages)..This music is a part of the fabric of my life...It has shaoed the love of music that I have stil today. My family bought every song from most of the main artists that were out. We would have all the new songs as soon as they hit the stores in Philly.

  • i looked up this song, and you did a great job on the montage. just great thanks for putting it togethr.

    i remember it all

  • OoooooooooooooH I loved this song still now today WOW! I was in love with Jermaine Jackson, I thought Michael was too young for me and he was just 2 yrs older than I. WOW! Yeah someone got it right Michael with Lisa Marie not the gold digger Debbie Rowe. PEACE!

  • I LOVE it !!!!!!

  • What a wonderful tribute to the Jackson family. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.

  • I played this for my kids mother when we first met.

  • you know he performed this song at he and hazels wedding

  • Ha! Jermaine's hair was prettier than Hazel's. *lol*

  • @ChocolateEarth LOL I AGREE JERMAINE HAD OF THE BEST PERMS IN THE WRLD LOL EVER NTCE HOW AS THEY GOT OLDER HE AND MIKE WERE THE ONLY ONE WITH PERMS WHILE THE REST OF THE GROUP HAD FROS

  • @ChocolateEarth LOL!!

  • I love this song and I love Jermaine's smile. It reminds me so much of Ervin Magic Johnson's smile.

  • They were and are so beautiful!!!

  • my mother looks very much like Jermaine Jackson's wife on her wedding day!!!!!

  • I like this song. It reminds me of everything that was going on, during the summer, when I was 13. You know how songs reminds you of things? Even reminds me of that cool cap I use to wear, w/ the brim hanging down over your face. You know what I'm saying? Or you roll the ends up, and turn it into a little dobb cap. That's when they caps came out..around that time in 70.

This is one of the best songs Jermaine has made. Along w/ Tickle Your Fancy in 82. That jon't is real jazzy.

  • I had Jackson Five pictures on every wall in my bedroom. This song came out the summer of 1970 when I was 12 years old . my best friend and I would take naps to dream about marrying them. I wanted to marry Jermaine. my friend wanted to marry Tito. Before then, I was a sad little girl . My Mom died when I was 8 years old. I had lived with family that really didnt want me.When the Jackson 5 came along, they made a world of difference for me. I thank you all for the great memories! RIP Michael

  • i dream of them to xD

  • Another great song by a very talented group of young men. I rememeber me and my mom used 2 listen to this song and she`d tell me the same thing. Thanks Jermaine 4 the song. My heart goes out to the Jackson family

  • I have a wonderful memory of this song. I saw the Jackson 5 at the Liverpool Empire in 1972, I was 15 and Michael was 14. When Jermaine sang this song, Michael walked to him and said "Have you found that girl Jermaine?" and Jermaine said "Yes, there she is" It was me!! I will never forget that moment as long as i live! I love this song, I love Michael and the jackson 5, Rest in peace dear Michael, God bless you, your family and thank you for the love and the joy you gave.

  • Awwh..that is so sweet..i wish i was born in that era of true talent, not the people on the radio today..

  • omg really? thats so awesome!! lol would of hoped they made eye contact the whole time lol

  • Great memories! I was completley dumbstruck tho,lol

my face must have been a picture! :)

  • i remember while living in california (sacramento) i came home everyday from school and listened to this song. i love it today. and you're right, it's hard to find. i had a lot of jermaine's albums and pictures and posters. i love you yesterday and today, jermaine.

  • How I loved this song AND Jermaine Jackson! I played it over and over again in my bedroom as a young girl. I will always remember the wonderful days of my youth when I listen to this music. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Jackson family.

  • this song is so hard to find. thanks for posting!

  • Love this song, Love the Jackson 5, Rest In Peace Michael

  • I played this song over and over again for years. I had every single 45 (and a few 78s) the Jacksons made.....so sad.......

  • WOW!!! how blessed you are to have a gift from the gods.

  • This has always been my favorite Jackson 5 song. I think Jermaine had a better voice, but he didn't get the exposure. Michael was a very gifted individual, but so were many of his siblings. Perhaps it is better that he was the only one who got to be a superstar because the others were spared the anguish and pain that he suffered. Now, he is finally at peace and the vultures who caused him so much torment can't bother him anymore. Now he can be with the Father who won't mistreat him.

  • Rest in Peace, Michael! Your people love you so much!!!!

  • I still have the Ebony with the Hazel and Jermaine wedding pics....This was when you eworked to become a star/entertasiner, not like today where you do a sex tape or reality and obtain sudden stardom.

  • post it

  • i was so in love with jermaine, i always said that when i graduated, i would go to hollywood and marry him. but one day i came home from school and seen on the front page of the paper that jermaine had married hazel. i was sooo upset that i cried for a week.

  • I Share your feeling....such a cutie!!!

  • My mother just told me today that she loved Jermaine. She said she was in the fan club and everything. I can't even imagine that! That's so cute!

  • Wow...yeah my told me tonight, as we were wacthing his memorial service, that she was in love with Jermaine, and my dad said he thought that he was Jermanie..lol

  • @goddessnow47 I couldn't agree with you more!! And they played instruments, too. On another J5/Mike post, someone suggested that Mike lip-synched a song. These guys were groomed to sing and dance without the use of technology of today. Their inherent talent was cultivated with practice, practice and more practice - to bring them to their highly acclaimed professional heights.

  • @nutothis1 LIP-SYNCHED AROUND THE WORLD,THE WORLD ALL OF THEM.AND NO ONE CAN SELL-OUT ARENAS in SECONDS LIKE THE JACKSONS AROUND THE WORLD!!!

  • @nutothis1 LIP-SYNCHED AROUND THE WORLD,THE WORLD ALL OF THEM.AND NO ONE CAN SELL-OUT ARENAS in SECONDS LIKE THE JACKSONS AROUND THE WORLD!!! GIVE JOE JACKSON HIS MONEY

  • I love this song and it really takes me back to my younger days in my life when things were so carefree. Oh how I wish I could go back to those good times. od bless the Jaccksons and this song as well. irviinbean123

  • very good music that I love the songs of them!!!!!

    xD

  • I remember that poster of Jermaine and his wife. I got it out the Right-ON magazine. I remember looking at her pearls on the dress, it came up so clearly Did not like the fact, he was marrying her. OMG. I am over this. truly..

  • Does anyone know where the old footage came from of them!!!!!

  • my sister love jermaine when we was young I love all the jackson

  • Rest In Peace Dee Dee and Enid.

  • wHERE DID ALL THE OLD FOOTAGE OF THEM COME FROM?

  • didn't someone else sing this song first?

and if so who was it?

  • my all time favorite since i was 3 or 4 years old back then

  • This is so so good!

  • Tito turned out to be a very articulate young man, eventho he was always in the background.
