  • i started this routine for the third time (i wasn't fit enough to "bring it"), and now i'm decided to finish it, i just finished week 1, but i have a problem, i can't follow the diet cuz i'm never at home, i've stoped drinking sodas' and if i eat a hot dog it's plain, without sauce and all that stuff, what could you recommend for people like me who can't follow the diet but it's willing to sacrifice to get the get ripped

  • Dude...amazing..I started Insanity last week...the only thing i'm concerned with is that I've looked at several body transformation videos and it's not really the results i'm looking for. I see more ppl getting "ripped" off of P90x....I feel like i've wasted my money on Insanity. Would you agree? Is p90x the way I should go for results like yours?

  • @lee1597 Insanity is a great program and you will definitely see results, but it lacks resistance training. What I recommend you do is a P90X/Insanity hybrid program! If you head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com, I've got one posted on there.

  • @CoachJoshS im having trouble with building up on my lower legs "calf muscle", the legs and back is doing wonders for my upper legs just not so well on the lower is there anything i can do to build up on my calfs?

  • @ixBreaker500xi The calf raises are very helpful when looking to build the calves. If you want to, add more weight to the calf raises, which will put on some size. Also, have you been over to my site yet? I'm always posting helpful P90X tips! It's iwanttogetripped*com.

  • i train muay thai and jiu jitsu 3 days a week. can i still do this while doing p90x? i don't want to stop training for 90 days. how can i work it in with the p90x program??? PLEASE HELP?!?

I just did the Insanity for 5 weeks and i noticed that i started to loose too much muscle from the arms while doing it but i got my belly and love handels off so i quit insanity, cause i didnt want to loose all the muscle. I was just thinking can i get mass with p90x or should i just start going to the gym cause i dont wanna look ripped and thin i wanna look big and bulky? is that possible? should i just do the lifting exercises and forget the cardio?

  • @Jampper all about the diet dude. Find out of RMR then eat 1000 calories surplus and do compound exercises like deadlift, bench, squats and power cleans because those work multiple muscle groups at once. Plus intake a lot of carbs and proteins and make sure your eating a lot because that's what matters the most. Calories in vs Calories out.

  • @abc12348101 I think you should, but you probably should check with your doctor and parents! That's about the time that I started lifting. Unfortunately, P90X wasn't around back then, but if it was I would have definitely done it. It would have helped tremendously with baseball.   • @goo5976 No man you're going to want to do it the healthy way. There are some great mass building supplements like mass gainers and creatine that will help, but diet plays a major role. Check out the "gaining mass" section under the "workouts" tab on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • @CoachJoshS okay but i already have a crapload of muscle on top of my fat. so i know all i have to do is lose the fat and the extra skin that is there after the weightloss. but what im saying is,,,even when i lose most of the fat on my body i still have some fat around my chest. i want to lose my man boobs first and then lose all the other weight. the testosterone decreases when you are obese (which i am) so i just want to raise my testosterone and lose weight at the same time. any tips??

  • @CoachJoshS hmmm ok. thats a given though. believe me, i understand what it takes because i used to be 6' 2" 220lbs in the 8th grade, and now im 6' 5" 325lbs. if you can imagine what i look like, search ndomakong suh. with a little extra fat. i pretty much just have my man boobs to lose and my stomach, everything else looks pretty good

  • If I only do the ab ripper x DVD will I get abs or I have to do all the DVDs. How far will I get only with 1 of the DVDs

  • You bet brotha! Your results are still astounding to me lol. I'm committing 100 percent to the workouts and nutrition. Haven't missed a workout yet and in the range of 1800-2000 calories a day, with average numbers of 230g of protein, 150g (180 sometimes on days of recovery drink) for carbs and usually below 45g for fat. Do these numbers sound ballpark to you? I'm eating most chicken, Turkey, shakeology, pure protein bars, beef jerkey, amp protein shakes, almonds, no fat yogurt and light string

  • @wchesh24 Yeah, all you really need is about a 6X6 space and some dumbbells or resistance bands and a pull-up bar. Also, there are ways to modify the diet so that it isn't so tough for you to follow. You can find out how to do so on my site iwanttogetripped*com in the "Q&A" section.

  • @CoachJoshS Some of the workouts have you jumping/lunging around a bit more than 6x6, but you could easily modify them.

  • @fitnessawaits Yeah, but there really aren't that many that do. The only workout that I can think of that has a few is Plyometrics, but like you said, you can modify.

  • Hi Coach, I'm a newbie to p90x. Day 3 and yes, I'm feeling the pain. I respectfully ask for your help. I have a question...I'm reasonably fit, just outta shape. I'm finding that I can only get through half the workouts, especially when it comes to all those damn pushups, lol... Is this normal? Should I just do as much as I can and go to the next excersize?   • @MorchellaMike Yeah, that's normal is you're out of shape. What you should do is modify the routine, and Tony shows you how to do so in the videos. Also, there is nothing wrong with eating the same things every day, but make sure you're still following the guidelines from the Nutrition Guide.

When I started, I was 178 lbs, and dropped down to 154 lbs in my first 90 days.
