When you start to look at the age of the ships that were actually at pearl at the time of the attack, most were pretty old and outdated. All the new stuff was out with the carriers. The loss of life
was the worst tragedy, but all but 4 ships were raised and fixed. I recently saw a show on tv about rumors of Japan testing an atom bomb themselves, but its something I had never heard before. Very interesting, they would have used it for sure, same as Germany or Russia would have. God Bless G Welch

Zeros were developed in what the Japanese considered the year '2000', so they took the last digit from that and named their fighter after it.

It took WW2 to get us out of a Depression.

Hitler was fighting Russia and needed help so He asked japan to sign a treaty for him that they would fight with him and in-turn share conquered land. But, Japan used the treaty for their own Benefit since the Emperor was very ambitious. Attacking USA would give Japan More access to Oil that in turn was one of the main resources for building Battleships. The first offensive was Pearl Harbor.....

I'm still lol-ing at how 'you' justify carpet bombing and nuclear bomb attack on CIVILIANS. As I said before, since you clearly do not read my comments, what kind of 'friend' demands Japan to give up the colonies or else all the oil supplies will be cut off?
I'm sure if the US or any other country was under that kind of pressure, it would take some action. Although please dont get me wrong, I think what Japan did was stupid.

Because you say "you people" when the american civilains are not responsible for the government's actions when this happened over 60 years ago. The Japanese bombed civilians on Pearl Harbor as well. They also bombed our hospitols. Japan told us they wanted PEACE and then they bombed us. Then we used the nuclear bomb to end the war like I said before.

Your a fool. Japan didnt bomb pearl harbour for Pacific control, they bombed it because America cut the oil supply lines. You got what you deserved to be honest.

You are almost right. USA was Sending relief supplies to Europe When Hitler became Allied with Japan. Hitler was fighting Russia and needed help so He asked japan to sign a treaty for him that they would fight with him and in-turn share conquered land. But, Japan used the treaty for their own Benefit since the Emperor was very ambitious. Attacking USA would give Japan More access to Oil that in turn was one of the main resources for building Battleships. The first offensive was Pearl Harbor.....
