Yeah, I'd have to agree with you and 7Write4This9Heart7, Batman did kind of screw Dick over...and he's a real ass to Dick in Under the Red Hood. I like Dick and Jason equally, though.

@AineHawkins thanks, and i always thought is was kinda weird how the entire batman fanbase voted for Jason to die, that ...i kinda thought was f-d up.

I'm not too sure how i feel about him coming back tho, I think its cool that he's a bit psycho but....i kinda missed it when dead meant dead. LOL

@cagedrobin I'd heard that one person programmed his computer to cast a vote for Jason to die every few minutes...so if that's true, that whole voting contest was kind of rigged. :(

Yeah, it kind of sucks that in comic books, dead doesn't really mean dead. (How many times have our favorite superheros died and come back to life? Check out a video called "Realistic Superhero Funeral." Lol.) But it does provide an interesting story arc, plus a whole new villain/antihero character. I digress.

@AineHawkins In any case, the vote margin was fairly close, so if it weren't for that guy, Jason might have lived. But then there would be a whole host of things that either would have been delayed or wouldn't have happened. So go figure...

i'd be interesting to think of how different the Batman mythos ( and Bruce for that matter ) would have changed if Jason's fate weren't left up to a vote.

wonder how Bruce would have been if there was no "Death in the family".

You bring up an interesting point! That would be different, if Jason had survived. The characters would probably have been fairly different...though in Batman/Bruce's case, I'm not sure to what degree, since his character never seemed to change drastically very often. And it would have been interesting to see if Jason had followed Dick's path, and become a stand-alone superhero like Nightwing... (cont'd)
