neither--I learned the melody by ear and then improvised on it, so the whole thing is pretty much spontaneous

This is very impressive! I usually play most of my excerpts on the Keyboard, though you can't beat the real instruments non electronically used.

I like the sort of dreamy like touch to the way you played this! I never thought Zelda music would suit being kinda jazzy but this really works!

You have to be careful of how many of your own notes you add in because then it doesn't sound much like teh song at all, there were only a couple parts I could make out that sounded like it but notheless a pretty good melody
