Worldbeater22, the world record at the time was held by Defar in 14:16. Later, Dibaba took it down to 14:11.
Vivian said that the Ethiopians are beatable and a few months later, she won the Berlin World Championship gold as did Masai in the 10k.

She is a bad ass. Unlike many kenyans she has closing speed that can match that of Defar and Diababa. I am Ethiopian, I wish this girl good luck. She is amazing.
