  • Sadie is my inspiration :P

  • Sarah Palin should study this girl. ;-)

  • You're also a sweet heart... : )

  • @c1cter Glad you liked the video! =-)

  • All I can say is you better treat this young woman with respect if you happen to meet her when she grows up. On another note... book reports at two years old?

  • This has to be one of the most genius one-liners of all History of Humankind:

    --- I am not a baby... I am not a girl... I am a WOMAN!

    Kudos for you, Sadie!

    :-)

  • Any way, I'm done arguing kids. It took 3 weeks for you to respond and I'm pretty sure you're one of those types that will reply no matter what with the delusional mentality that you are right.

Also analyzing over a 1 min vid of a child is kind of disturbing. Have fun.

    /block

  • She's cute dammit.

  • two year olds should not be made to give book reports and three year olds should not be made to listen !

It's pretention on the part of the parents when at that age the children haven't even biologically developed enough to master enunciation !

  • I think you have way...WAY too much time on your hands

  • coming from someone who took the time to answer...

    oh the irony !

  • Wow, that's the best you can do? Maybe you should have been made to do book reports at age 2.

  • Once again, the irony.

  • Wait...this helps the child build up their speaking skills and ultimately speaking comprehension.

I'm not sure how you consider two and three year old children to be "made" but this certainty is doing them a lot more good.

I'm sorry if you did not have a chance to go to school, really I am.

  • Since you seem to be having difficulty with comprehension,

I mean "made" as in forced by the parents.

FYI my reading aptitude when I was in Fourth grade was measured as already being at College level,

but maybe that's because I was allowed the *Freedom* to develop as a *Natural* Child ,

sorry you wouldn't know what that was like ,

    LOL !

  • Congratulations on your ability to read at a college level at an early age, for someone that's been through it already that is pretty useless.

But really, you must be a complete joke. Allowed "freedom"? Do you know these kids? Do you know where they live? Their upbringings? Who they play with? Are their parents alive? Do you have kids? No. You have no idea. You're just making baseless comments on what is simply a harmless practice.

LOL? Ending that with your comment makes you even more sad.

  • I will say this, I'm all for giving kids freedom to do what they want. But we are all brought up different in ways of growing up and raising our own

Seeing that Sadie is not being beaten or being held at gun point we can see she is comfortable with this and for all we know she was having fun until being interrupted (But it was said they are friends so they probably don't care or remember this)

I'll just say this, stop being pompous jerks. Its a 1 min video of a kid reading a book.Get a life

  • "you have no idea...you're just making baseless comments.."

This, coming from a person who has no clue about who I AM but in their initial comments to me

just *assumed* I had no schooling.....

Ha,ha ha the irony is just oozing all over this thread !

    Objectivity, GET SOME >

and pop a few valium while you're at it,

sounds like it might do ya a world of good,

not to metion make it easier on the people who have to deal with your high-strung ass !

  • This will probably get me loads of bitchy comments back but I dont care, I agree with Zeuszgrl in away, I think that it does encourage reading but they're only two years old, they have about 16 years of education ahead to do a book report, let the kids play.

  • Neck breaking is a scientifically sound and psychologically sound method of enforcing good behavioral habits in children. Also, it saves the taxpayers a lot of money.

  • Sadie totally owned that heckler.

  • That was a terrible book report.

    1 star.

  • hahaha nice

  • Siezure-inducing cuteness! :D

  • "I am a hooman!"

    Cute.

  • Bless. You tell him sadie!

  • hahahahaha!!!!!

  • ESTO QUE ES?? =S

  • Comment removed

  • Sadie is a badass.

  • exploitation

  • Yep. Filming kids doing cute things and sharing them with people is cruel and evil I agree

  • guy's obviously kidding..

  • OMG!! this is how hecklers begin. Sad they start out this young. And to the kid speakings credit. OWNED!!!!! The Girl Speaking Handled this VERY WELL.

  • 2 year olds giving book reports?

  • get over yourself

  • Very funny.

  • omg, that was ridiculously cute.

  • "I not a baby, I'm a hooman" - omg sooo cute!!

  • Priceless!

  • cute

  • lol

  • "its upsetting that little boys as young as that suggest that there is something wrong with being a 'girl'"

Lighten up, Shellback. Girls at that age think boys are 'yucky.'

  • gallapagoseaturtle -"its upsetting that little boys as young as that suggest that there is something wrong with being a 'girl'"

You are upset over something as innocent as this and you talk about strength?

    Get a life.

  • I think the boy misstook human for man. He ain't that old yet you know. They might not know all the words or there mening yet.

I am more upset that the teacher didn't tell him stop calling her a baby.

  • plimbluff blows cock

  • lol, that's so adorable. "Hooman"? Haha.

  • I not a baby, I a Hu'mon.

  • omg this girl is so freaking cuteee

  • That's cute as hell

  • On the contrary. I have a PhD in developmental psychology.

  • a huumaan?

  • It's easy to discipline children without inflicting physical pain. You only think hitting kids is necessary because your parents used to hit you as a child. It's time for you to evolve. I suggest you study "Developmental Psychology". Thousands of respected PHDs have dedicated their lives to researching parenting techniques. You should ACTUALLY STUDY the topic. Don't just assume smacking a kid is OK because your parents did it to you.

  • i have studied psychology and specifically child psychology. it is not beneficial to hit/spank a child. i will find all of my research and make a video regarding this subject.

  • I support you ladyxeona. Science is all we have to try to understand things better.

  • You're right. Kicking them and sawing off limbs have proven much more effective.

  • What's your opinion? You obviously don't agree with psychology.

  • Are you a creationist?

  • Are you a nutjob???

  • You have no shame. You should come up with some comments of your own. Stop cutting and pasting my comments.

  • Please prove to me that you've studied developmental psychology. Tell me what psychology has found, as far as the basic drawbacks of hitting kids as a form of discipline.

  • Again, you should research developmental psychology. Only then will you realize how stupid you sound. I recommend educating yourself before you have kids. For your kid's sake.

  • she's soooo cute. I want to put a widdle bow on her!

  • "im not a girl!"

    ha this is adorable

  • Smack that brat in the back of the head.

  • why

  • The little girl shouldnt be interrupted.

  • I agree, but why hit the little boy? Do you really think that hitting kids is the best form of discipline?

  • You make it sound like Id beat the kid savagely. He needs to be taught not to interrupt people. Smacking him in the back of the head is only going to mess his hair up.

  • Again, you should research developmental psychology. Only then will you realize how stupid you sound. I recommend educating yourself before you have kids. For your kid's sake.

  • Do you know how stupid you sound for blowing this up way out of proportions? Did you read my last comment? A smack in the head would teach him respect. When my dad spanked me, it taught me not to do bad things. Now relax or youll get an ulser, for your sake.

  • Again, you should research developmental psychology. Only then will you realize how stupid you sound.

  • You sound like your about 10, "you sound stupid!". In middle America, kids get spanked(or beaten in your eyes) all the time! I guess millions of parents should have their kids taken over by the state, huh?

  • You are trying a classic straw man argument. And you are failing. Again, you should study developmental psychology. Only then will you realize how stupid you sound. Hitting kids teaches kids to hit others. Talk about retarded parenting.

  • Ill ask the question again, should millions of parents have their kids taken away, for your sake?

  • DPKFOUR7, who ever said anything about taking people's kids away?? You are attempting a straw man argument, and failing.

  • Millions of parents spank their kids, are they wrong? Should the government step in to make sure those parents are "behaving"? Heres another "straw man argument" for your viewing pleasure.

  • Asked and answered. DPKFOUR7, who ever said anything about taking people's kids away?? You are attempting a straw man argument, and failing.

  • If a kid is about to get run over by a car, would you push him out of the way, or decide that pushing is to abusive???

  • You have no respect for psychology or the vast amount of research that has been done regarding this topic. That's called IGNORANCE. And you seem to be proud to be ignorant. Sorry, but I have no respect for someone who is proud to be ignorant.

  • Are you ignorant when it comes to disciplining kids? If you cant answer the question, Ill take that as a sign that I guess you dont.

  • Are you ignorant when it comes to disciplining kids? If you cant answer the question, Ill take that as a sign that I guess you dont.

  • (1) Hello again,..."Sorry, but I have no respect for someone who is proud to be ignorant."...I thought I was proud to be ignorant? Are you sure you dont respect me, because obviously you still value my opinion.;)

  • (2) In 6,000years of human history, parents have disciplined their children one way or another. One of them ways is by spanking, smack the head, smack the rist, etc. Recently, some people had the bright idea of new methods of discipline. When these methods were put in place in more liberal societies. Moral disinigration begins to take place! Now, is that a coincidence, or an accident? Are you sure Im the ignorant one here?;)

  • You have no respect for psychology or the vast amount of research that has been done regarding this topic. That's called IGNORANCE. And you seem to be proud to be ignorant. Sorry, but I have no respect for someone who is proud to be ignorant.

  • Thats right I have no respect for psychology. Ill tell you what I do respect, bringing up kids to be responsible human beings.

  • Again. Sorry, but I have no respect for someone who is proud to be ignorant.

  • OK, I can live with that.

  • Again DPKFOUR7. Sorry, but I have no respect for someone who is proud to be ignorant.

  • If you have no respect for "ignorant" people, why are you still writing me?;)

  • Again DPKFOUR7. Sorry, but I have no respect for someone who is proud to be ignorant.

  • Im sorry you feel that way, I guess Ill have to get over it.;) I respect you, you are a human being entitled to his or hers opinions......Even if those opinions are crazy.;)

  • Yes. If someone broke the boy's spine, he would relate the pain to the event remember that it's rude to interrupt.

  • Oh I see, you're just a wackjob.

  • Your screen name might not express it, but I doubt you're any less of one.

  • Well, I don't actually have the word "Wackjob" in my name, but sure. Thanks Christianwackjob.

  • I repeat. Your screen name might not express it, but I doubt you're any less of one.

  • Point taken christianwackjob. As a total stranger, I respect your doubts about me. But at least I explained my position, which is more than can be said for you.

  • It's the very basics of conditioned learning.

  • Please prove to me that you've studied developmental psychology. Tell me what psychology has found, as far as the basic drawbacks of hitting kids as a form of discipline.

  • O.K, I did something bad, dad chases me, dad catches me, dad whips me. Lesson learned: Dont do what daddy dont like! Does that answer your question?

  • Again DPKFOUR7. Sorry, but I have no respect for someone who is proud to be ignorant.

  • O.K, You obviously no more then everybody else. All hail the all wise and all knowing plimbuff!!!;)

  • Are you a creationist?

  • Ah, that's a trick question. There are no drawbacks. If you had studied developmental psychology, you would know that.

  • Wrong.

  • Obviously you know very little about developmental psychology.

  • On the contrary. I have a PhD in developmental psychology.

  • On the contrary. I have a PhD in developmental psychology.

  • On the contrary. I have a PhD in developmental psychology.

  • Christianwackjob, your name is stupidly redundant. All Christians are wackjobs. You don't need to name yourself twice. Explain please.

  • LOL sounds like you have a PhD in wikipedia.

Kinda of weird to find so many psychologist, boxing experts, MMA instructors and lawyers out of work that they feel the need to show their stuff on Youtube LOLOLOL.

  • Except I'm not out of work. I am a professional child psychologist that understands that sometimes you need to break their necks to teach them a lesson. It's science, holmes.

  • cause, you know, neck breaking is a totally valid form of therapy.

    wanker.

  • It is a valid form of therapy. Obviously you're not a developmental psychologist, whereas I am.

  • Please prove to me that you've studied developmental psychology. Tell me what psychology has found, as far as the basic drawbacks of hitting kids as a form of discipline.

That's just science. You can't argue with it.

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahahaahahaha!

"a dragon kick to the throat"

  • Hitting kids is not only a good form of discipline but also a great form of entertainment.

  • Yes. They know not to do it again. It's the freaks that go too far that really.. BEAT.. them. A smack on the head or a tug on the ear and they learn.

  • It's easy to discipline children without inflicting physical pain. Light101, you only think hitting kids is necessary because your parents used to hit you as a child. It's time for you to evolve. Don't just assume smacking a kid is OK because your parents did it to you.

  • Lol, listen. People can study what they want about it but it's just because they couldn't handle a good smack if you do something wrong. Yes, my parents did discipline me as a child and I did learn from it. You don't study how to cuddle to your child and quietly ask them to not do something wrong. You know it's wrong to yell around in the supermarket because if you do you get a smack on the back of the head and no candy for a week.

  • Again, you should research developmental psychology. Only then will you realize how stupid you sound. I recommend educating yourself before you have kids. For your kid's sake.

  • Lol really.. Don't throw hot water over them it's just a slap once in a while that makes them learn. It's how I learned.

  • Again, you should research developmental psychology. Only then will you realize how stupid you sound.

  • I don't really care about what it is. I will discipline my kids the way I want to. I won't go over the top by punching them that's crazy and psychotic. A slap on the wrist to teach them something. You don't touch a hot stove. Why? Because when you touched it, it burned your fucking hand right?

  • I first saw this video clip on a Jeanne Moos report on CNN. It is the cutest video EVER!! and my family and I have watched this Youtube video at least 20 times and the CNN clip on TV at least 50 times. • Don't upload videos on the internet if you're so offended that people don't like them. asshole

  • because theres still descent people out there who don't make rude comments just for the sake of being an asshole, like yourself...

  • that wasn't really me. my family went on vacation and the person staying at my house got on my account. i would never say anything bad about this video. its very cute

  • shut up

  • that wasn't really me. my family went on vacation and the person staying at my house got on my account. i would never say anything bad about this video. its very cute

  • what?

  • I first saw this on a news program, and now "I *am* a hoo-man" is regular fare in our house. Thanks for the laugh! Homelearners of the world, ROCK ON!

  • SADIE FOR PRESIDENT!!! That is the most articulate and meaningful speech i've ever heard from an American from behind a lecturn.

  • Aww, so cute!

  • I am hooman, too.

  • LOL it's so cute I love how she says she's a human and not a baby or a girl! lol! How adorable! =)

  • Sadie is so cute.Maybe she might be president one day.And deal with another heckler. But i'm sure she handle that.If she will be president I bet that boy who called her a baby would be so surprised!Sadie is such a cutie pie.And such a strong girl to defend her self.

  • Bravo sadie, good job

  • there is something very touching and beautiful about this.

  • Love it. Lostcheerio, you've clearly done a fabulous job as a mom and teacher. I love how Sadie is so confident and defended herself without getting upset.

  • I will absolutely unequivocally second that.

  • Go Sadie i love her, she's adorable and so smart.

  • That three-year-old owned that girl. "You're not." Har

  • sadie is pretty smart. but if she was even smarter, she woulda said "yeah. i'm a baby, girl, AND human...so STFU!"

  • Oh my god she's so cute! =)

  • That kid is very cute and all, but what the *hell* is she doing givng a *book report*?!

She's only two for God's sake!

  • Oh and ... No human should ever have to deal with anything like this, especially not a 3 yr old. Classroom disruptions such as this are a disgrace to our educational system. I truly hope that the kid and the teacher are both punished equally. I don't know who you are Sadie but you're truly my new hero.

  • My goodness, this was an innocent and comic event. Why should the pupil and teacher be punished? There are enough Nurse Ratched's in the world, relax Mildred!

  • Besides Sadie's unbelievable cuteness and astounding ability to defend herself, I have 3 MAJOR problems with this video.

1 Why is a 3 yr old giving a book report?

2 Why is the teacher laughing at the situation?

3 Why wasn't this heckling kid reprimanded immediately?

  • 1. This was a homeschool book club, and while Sadie was there as a little sister, accompanying her six-year-old brother, she also liked to get up and give book report too. I let her get up and talk about her books, to give her confidence. Which she obviously has in abundance. :)

  • 2. Because it was funny. The teacher was me, her mother. I ascertained that she was doing a fair job of defending herself, and would have intervened if she'd seemed in the least bit distressed.

  • 3. The heckler, Phillip, was three at the time. He is one of Sadie's best friends. At the time, he was irritated with constantly being grouped with the "little kids" when he would have preferred to be categorized with the older siblings, so calling Sadie a baby was a way of distancing himself from her "toddler" status. If you listen, on the video, his mother said, "Leave Sadie alone." And he did pipe down.
