@HombreHonest I can't to tell you about original GT 440, 'cos he has some different versions. I've got version by ASUS(ASUS Nvidia GeForce 1Gb DDR5 128-bit) with heavy cooler. Also, this video card can have 512Mb(DDR5) and 1GB(or 2GB)(DDR3) of memory. So, he's can have different form. Sorry for bad English, i am Russian...

@HombreHonest Just download more Random Access Memory (RAM). Try googling for it, I believe there is a site that offers the upgrades for free due to an exploit that allows the system to work with virtual RAM similarly to how hyperthreading works on processors.

It's amazing how technology works, really.

@HombreHonest I'm an amd fanboy, I will not lie so you won't get any nvidia recommendations from me. But nvidia and amd are roughly the same performance/price wise. Anyway, the 6770 will set you back ~$100 and max out all source games. It'll even handle battlefield 3 and other more demanding games. If you have less money... grab a 6570... but only if you really can't afford something better.
