How many people died? How many people got injured? Yeah the airport needs glide slope indicator.

its sad... it was tottaly the pilots fault. they landed on the other end of the runway that the ATC directed them too. they also landed while going 220 kts, when he was supposed to be going 160, and that resulted in a VERY overspeed landing

Its a very reliable aircraft. An average reliable airline. In this case clearly the biggest problem is the safety of the airport; a runway which is way too short especially in bad wheather conditions...

heyyy is not about the aircraft or the pilots. taca shouldn't loose the plane if they were landing in el salvador is honduras that doesn't have good airports at all the runway was to short mn thats why............. rip the pilot

I witness this tragedy in Toncontin. This was really shocking. After a month, I need to take TACA for my flight last July 1 going back to my country and return last August 30 of same year for Tegucigalpa.

I was nervous taking the airline.
