it skips but you can unwarp it a little bit over the stove but unless you happen to have 2 slabs of flat something (like glass) you may not be able to get rid of the ripples...
dude... put the record in between 2 pieces of flat glass, put a weight on it and let it bake in the sun for about 2-3 hours then it will get flat then let it cool off and it will stay flat
I have found full infos about the label CHISA and its catalog Most of that music is now available online in the .mp3 format! A surprising thing: CHISA is distributed by MOTOWN! I remarked in the past, you have uploaded some DEAWOO CNC lathes videos on YT! Which company was it? You worked there? In my mind, you are a multi talented guy!
@CloudTheTank Not that difficult, but you do have to be careful with one this old and this badly warped. Remember this is wax. This was likely exposed to the sunlight. UV rays are the worst for records regardless of temperature. First you have to heat up the record (Heat Lamp, Oven on low), then when it's really soft stick it between two hard, flat surfaces and leave it there for a few days without disturbing it! It's always worked for me but only when they are SOFT!
@FDINDUSTRY Actually vinyl which is much more stable and heat resistant than wax which is good for you. Experiment with a crappy record and see if it works out (A Jane Fonda perhaps) Let it play directly under raw sunlight until it warps out (won't take long). Then apply all the above steps. I used to stick my records under my speaker and concrete basement floor!
Looks like the "Peter Pan" label. They were notorious for using their own bands to make compilation records (like K-tel) but marketed to kids who they thought never knew the difference... but we did lol.
Haha dang I been lookin for this for awhile! Dope!

I played this as a DJ in the early seventies.
It is a jazz funky version of the song by Sly And The Family Stone recorded by The Jazz Crusaders (later The Crusaders) on the Tamla Motown label.

you can fix that by placing something flat and heavy like a stack of vinyl on top of the record to flatten it out

@TypicalJoe1900 i think there's a way to un warp them. you need like a two glass plate's and lots of sun light.
