MLC flash has over 10K Read/write/erase cycles. That means a 32GB SSD could take 10GB of data a day read it, write it, and erase it for 32 years. Sorry to say this but you will prolly be dead before your SSD.

so.. can you run heavy applications now on a netbook with an ssd, like photoshop.

wenn it comes to loading and caching apps this is a huge difference of course but photoshop and its' filters need cpu performance.

SSD's only last so long as their write cycles don't get flashed out.
330,000 or 660,000 won't last forever!

oh these numbers for your read/write cycles are a little bit outdated. You can be sure to use SLC-SSDs and even the new MLC ones for many many years
