Ah! Nothing like Verdi to wake up bright and happy!
I love hearing the old records that were able to capture Caruso's voice where you can hear the rasping sound of them turning on the gramophone! Imagine the thrill of those who had never conceived of such an accomplishment at the time!
Well, In the absence of Caruso, my Mario Lanza renditions of Verdi's arias will keep me quite happy!
Even as good as this remaster is, we will never know just how incredible his voice truly was. The technology just wasn't there to capture it, so much was lost.
To have heard him live- that must have been an experience!
In this "aria" Caruso is absolutely the best of all,to me.

I wish I chould have a singing voice like Enrico Caruso but I'm stuck with a deep voice that can't any high note like Caruso. :(
