@thebestplayerful Advanced Pod Controller comes with Wiremod. It should be under Wire - I/O

THANK YOU! I've been working on a car and trying to get the same wheels to go forwards and backwards. This is the only guide I have found that even mentioned using the subtract CPU thing. I tried it and it worked the first time!

its not the model that changes the amount of thrust a thruster gives, its the weight. Different models have different preset weight though.

i tried doing this with 2 turning thrusters, but it didn't work. I gave each turning thruster its own gate though. (i hate non symmetrical things.)

Shit, i never thought about using the right click for adv pod controller on the prop and the chair... freaking wasted half hour of my time. Beside, no, you dont need gate, since the numpad input will take care for you. Just add the thruster as 8 and 2, and make the numpad sense 8 as W and 2 as S, and link it to adv pod controller.

You dont need gates

yeah you do. it is to split the values so you can use the same thruster for both forward and backwards by assigning them to different outputs on the pod controller. if you dont use a gate it only has an A value, which is forward. using a gate it has A and B, forward and back

Well put some on the front and both sides and wire it up without gates and works just as good

It doesnt need to be a bigger model , just use weight tool to adjust the power
