Just make sure that if you plan on stretching for a long time that you have the room nice and warm and you get up and jump around a bit every once in a while to keep the blood flowing (a.k.a keeping your muscles warm)

You'd get a better stretch at 5:54 if you put the front leg so that the bent knee makes a 90 degree angle, and you square your hips (not just the shoulders are supposed to face forward, but the hips as well)
Yes thats true in general you want your hips square. But in this move for some people (myself included) if your hips are perfectly squared then the move can result in lower back pain. As long as your leg is directly behind you and the hips are facing forward you'll still get a very good stretch.

Well, the info about squeezing the opposing group was new to me. I don't stretch much at all in the winter cuz treadmill doesn't really require too much flexibility. But it's Spring now, my second day on the bike and already that darn left knee is hurting again. So I will try to put some of your tips to use (along with the Glucosamine/Chondroitin!) before hitting the bike path tomorrow. Thank you for the instructional video--it was like a professional DVD!

I learned those stretches in P.E class freshmen year of high school.
Perfect for people who never stretch before. You are very flexible and talented. would have been nice to see some pole dancing in the end
