They should make another film about Rt 30 in the 80's. It was really insane back then. An underground economy based on hookers, porn, weed and poker machines. It was anarchy and it was fun.
A guy I graduated with told me the other day about this movie. If it's still being screened at the Totem Pole next summer, I plan to go see it there. Growing up just 6 miles from Route 30 near McConnellsburg, we'd get in Chambersburg what we couldn't find in town. Parts of the "new" movie "The Road" (I say new b/c it was filmed more than 2 yrs ago but it's just now coming out) was filmed 10 mins from where I grew up, just outside Harrisonville.
From growing up in York, Pennsylvania, I can definitely relate to seeing some of the people featured in this movie. I live 20 mins. from Amish country, in Lancaster, PA, and I can see Route 30 from my house (I live on a hill). This movie looks like it will be hilarious, and anyone, from South Central PA or otherwise, will surely have a great time watching it.

Route 30 is so great, I have a lot of great stories of my own from road trips down 30. I want to see this!

me too! i used to live in chambersburg, Pa and i love route 30 i can't believe they would make a movie around our little town chambersburg!
