One question though, what about empress or emperor's hairpins? You loose the 10 acc from O hat for 3 dex but you get 3 agi for a tiny pinch of evasion. Is it a worthwhile sacrifice? Certainly till O hat it has to be best solo piece out there with same evasion as it.
You're absolutely right, that would be a better option. However, see the below comment of "I'm the cheap PUP". I can't afford the hairpin and I certainly can't spare the time to camp it unfortunately. If you have it though, then use it... it rocks!

Just go some time during the week when no one is on and give it an hour, unless someone is there then don't bother, but if no one is camping it you can get it and pop it with PH method very fast, if time is an issue don't stay past one pop and if you are doing work or something just kill the PH every 5 minutes for a few seconds then go back to work, or don't camp up to you ^^
Clueless? i dont think so. especially coming from a 75bst, 75 pup, 75 drg, 75 smn, 75 blu, and 75 nin (all jobs which i soloed to 75) i have also soloed Ose, Serket, Guivre, Ungur, Anciant Goobbue. trio'ed Hakutaku, killed Jorm with 6 ppl (5 bsts and a smn) so i do not think i am clueless, i know what im talking about and doing. ~_~
I'm using: Aketon Silk Headband +1 Velocity Earring Dodge Earring Vampire Boots Pup AF Legs Light Gauntlets Shiva's Claws Garrulous Ring Raja's Ring Dodge Cape I'm the cheap PUP that solo's stuff without forking out for food XD Now though, using O.hat and Hades Sainti both my evasion and accuracy are boosted further so I think I could potentially have STR body equipped all the time and negate the +5 from Aketon.
that and my joy toy + 15% haste (equip) and 15% haste (magic)

all add-ons are against the ToS. No 3rd pt applications :P just be quiet about it if you do plan on using them.

1) VE is 2-4 hour pop
2) claim is very hard to get
3) drop isnt so good, i know ppl 1/21
4) personally 1/5 and it took about 9 hours of camping withen a 2 week period. ALSO i missed about 4 claims during then and im a bst with wide scan

trust me i know >.> 28 hrs straight im like 3/13 cause ppl kept out lotting me
