  • Good Weird Feeling was one of my very favorite albums back then in the 90's. Great fun stuff.

  • great tune!!

  • It was about 1996 I heard it..

  • and Pursuit of Happiness lol

  • hey is that Junkhouse chasing them. I never realized that 15 yrs ago lol ?!

  • anyone recall the release year? I wanna say in or around 1995?

  • i love how they get caught at the end and they're like "ahh shit!" :D

  • I would be scared if Tom Wilson was chasing me, he's one scary looking mother fucker. Moe Berg on the other hand, I would kick the crap outta that blouse wearing pansy

  • @aklassen17 Agreed, Moe Berg is a little bitch

  • Great song. You've got the 'Odds', and then members of Junkhouse and TPOH (The Pursuit of Happiness). Great vid! So much fun!

  • Anyone know where that vid was shot?? Toronto ??

  • @adam29ont looks like Hamilton to me the lower hammer

  • Tom Wilson is a beautiful man!

  • You heard this on 90's Nooner with Josie Dye on 102.1 The Edge :P

  • @WolfCentre actually i heard it on classic rock 101

  • just found out these guys opening for bachman and turner so thought i would check em out before the show sounds pretty good

  • the first person to dislike will be forever hated!!!

  • just watched the cbc special "life is a highway" thanks for mentioning them :)

  • Ah yes... that old north west spirit. Time to remember :)

  • Crazy! I got fries at Royal Burgers an hour ago!

  • Just saw these guys three hours ago!! Such a great night!

  • Good Weird Feeling is one of my favorite 90's albums along with "Strays" by Junkhouse. Canadian music at its finest!

  • my doobie eye'd madonna

  • i love how he just steals the guys ice cream proves how ballsy he is

  • I can see running from Junkhouse....Those guys look like a bunch of scary ass bikers. But running from Moe Berg and the pursuit of happiness??? Bunch of pussies! Anyone who's seen Moe Berg wearing his blue silk blouse in the hard to laugh video, would not be running from these pansies....

  • Cameos by both the Pursuit of Happiness and Junkhouse. :D

  • I always thought that was Moe Berg, but never had confirmation.

  • This is SUCH a great song!!! I heard this the first time while I was in Canada this week...so much better than most of the music that's on American radio these days.

  • Great band, The Odds. George Martin of Beatles fame even used them as his backing band on his "In My Life" tour. I thought they sound a lot like Matthew Sweet on this song. I found out later they were signed to the same record company as Matthew Sweet, & had his guitarist, Robert Quine, play on "Jackhammer". They should have achieved bigger fame than they did. Haven't heard their stuff since they re-formed with a new member.

  • God bless videofact

  • Is that Moe Berg from the Pursuit of Happiness?

  • I think the guys in the truck are from Alberta, we dont roll like that in BC

  • @237whpH2Bhatch i dunno man, they be looking like some interior BC lumberjacks to me. or maybe some up north AB underemployed rig workers

  • It saddens me that so many people have no idea who this band is :(

  • Wow, SO Beatles like! :-) I love it. It's almost as if the Beatles are carrying on "with the odds" ;-)

    Great job guys!

  • Tom Wilson is so beautiful.

  • i farted to this song

  • seen the band in hamilton nobody showed up they played great in the background was tom it was ashame on hamilton

  • Holy crap, I remember watching this video on MuchMusic as a teen in Oregon. LOVE this song and band!

  • nice i see burlington st in hamilton in this vid cool i use to live just down the street

  • The Pursuit of Happyiness and Junkhouse making cameos? Cool.

  • @montrealcowboyx YEAHHHH i thaught that looks like the persuit of happyness, with the blackhawks jersy and the ice cream right? hahha gotta love the semi incestual canadian music industy

  • @Giles4200 how about Tom Wilson in the bad ass truck?

  • @kubastrobos wish i knew who that was :( forgive me, im surprised i even regonized the persuit of happyness

  • love the jerry can empty the whole time

  • That recent, eh?

I've been away for a while and I'm still catching up.

Shame, that. There was so much pop culture history in the place.

    Thanks for your response.

    Merry Christmas.

  • @bananarama10101

I had heard that the Canary closed when they did the big waterfront retoration in TO about a decade back, did you hear anything about this?

  • @lesterclaypool1 Yeah it did close - though not quite a decade ago, it closed in 2007.

  • wow, this is great.

im starting to think that music will never be as good as it was in this 90's

  • Best of luck to the new Odds! Saw them WAY back with Gin Blossoms in Ann Arbor, MI on the "your party sucks" tour...

    Great music, wonderful memories...!

  • Saw these guys @ Uvic last weekend. Good show, great stories. See 'em if you

    get the chance.

  • Just seen these guys yesterday at a free Canada Day show... totally brought me back! They are really good in concert :)

  • That's Canadian legends JUNKHOUSE chasing them in the pick up, everyone!

  • @Venkman007 AND Pursuit of Happiness in the car!! Don't leave them out!!!

  • @Venkman007 and the pursuit of happinesses moe burg ,,, driving the car they stole moe burg is the one with glasses of pursuit of happiness ,,, peace

  • the 90's really were amazing for music. None of this shitty disney brand miley cyrus, justin bieber and shit like that. I also notice that songs from the 90s and older sound more genuine - songs today all sound computer altered and generated, almost as if it was all composed on a computer.

  • stealing is bad.

and sweet to see the lead singer of The Pursuit of Happiness wearing a Blackhawks sweater!!!

  • Woooo, The Odds!

  • who is thisTPOH person?

  • love it

  • fucken eh!!! reminds me of my youth

  • I remember this song from the KITH movie.

  • 2:39 LOL! Knocks over Mr. TPOH, goes back and steals his ice cream cone too! No wonda it comes back to bite him in the ass at the end of the vid!

Great vocals here, BTW, both at the forefront and in the background.

  • @gorillabelly1 check out my demo song bland.....let me know what you think....even if you think it sucks ;-)

  • The train stopped right across the st from me, but I didn't find out until after!

  • these guys are stopping to play a set on a PASSING TRAIN in Fernie BC tomorrow night!! that's the shit!! Saw these guys 15 years aGO!!

  • when i was in high school these guys where the shit

  • Great 90's song.

  • mmmmmmmm Royal Burger 2:16. This video always gets me hungry.

  • TPOH SIGHTING!

  • @d3rjackal

Aha! Now I see what you mean! The Pursuit of Happiness! Saw them in Ottawa in 1989 and have two - no, three! - memories: kick-ass band, dark-haired girl dancing on stage all sexy-like, and four-eyes on vocals wearing a t-shirt that said "BABY" with an arrow pointing downwards! :-)

  • I like the range of vocals...sounds like a combo of tom petty and Lenny Kravitz

  • @MusicCanel Always thought it was Kravitz for the longest time.

  • @MusicCanel It sounds like a car crash? Range of vocals? Did you write this song?

  • Too bad that restaurant was closed @ 0:32 was closed, The Odd's used it in their video, and it was also the place where then Headstones singer Hugh Dillon was interviewed. Canadian 90's FTW!

  • it was also in a kids in the hall sketch where bruce stole some table salt :)

  • My dad had to explain this video to me.... I was 10 yrs old when it came out..........but I loved the song!

  • Memories. :)

  • seen these guys playing their home town in duncan,,what a great band, what a great show

  • i had a good friend who had some japanese exchange students over when this song came out back when i was starting high school. turns out one of them was a huge odds fan. i thought he was talking about different band, so i started singing the chorus, and the kids face lights up and says yeah! and he starts singing in terrible English. close enough! i found it highly strange, and i still do, that this music had found its way over there. true story, and it makes one of my fave tunes even better!
