I would be scared if Tom Wilson was chasing me, he's one scary looking mother fucker. Moe Berg on the other hand, I would kick the crap outta that blouse wearing pansy
I can see running from Junkhouse....Those guys look like a bunch of scary ass bikers. But running from Moe Berg and the pursuit of happiness??? Bunch of pussies! Anyone who's seen Moe Berg wearing his blue silk blouse in the hard to laugh video, would not be running from these pansies....
This is SUCH a great song!!! I heard this the first time while I was in Canada this week...so much better than most of the music that's on American radio these days.
Great band, The Odds. George Martin of Beatles fame even used them as his backing band on his "In My Life" tour. I thought they sound a lot like Matthew Sweet on this song. I found out later they were signed to the same record company as Matthew Sweet, & had his guitarist, Robert Quine, play on "Jackhammer". They should have achieved bigger fame than they did. Haven't heard their stuff since they re-formed with a new member.
@montrealcowboyx YEAHHHH i thaught that looks like the persuit of happyness, with the blackhawks jersy and the ice cream right? hahha gotta love the semi incestual canadian music industy
@NotARealStudio It was shot in Hamilton, On. I remember the radio announcing that they were filming this video in Hamilton and a lot of the car chase scenes at the end look like Burlington Street by (what was) Stelco and Defasco. @ 3:09 You see Venetian Meat & Salami and that's a store at Burlington by Gage Ave. There are parts shot in Toronto though, such as in front of Canary Restaurant, which was on Front Street E.

the 90's really were amazing for music. None of this shitty disney brand miley cyrus, justin bieber and shit like that. I also notice that songs from the 90s and older sound more genuine - songs today all sound computer altered and generated, almost as if it was all composed on a computer.
Aha! Now I see what you mean! The Pursuit of Happiness! Saw them in Ottawa in 1989 and have two - no, three! - memories: kick-ass band, dark-haired girl dancing on stage all sexy-like, and four-eyes on vocals wearing a t-shirt that said "BABY" with an arrow pointing downwards! :-)
Too bad that restaurant was closed @ 0:32 was closed, The Odd's used it in their video, and it was also the place where then Headstones singer Hugh Dillon was interviewed. Canadian 90's FTW!
i had a good friend who had some japanese exchange students over when this song came out back when i was starting high school. turns out one of them was a huge odds fan. i thought he was talking about different band, so i started singing the chorus, and the kids face lights up and says yeah! and he starts singing in terrible English. close enough! i found it highly strange, and i still do, that this music had found its way over there. true story, and it makes one of my fave tunes even better!
Good Weird Feeling was one of my very favorite albums back then in the 90's. Great fun stuff.
