All those actors could be fit for the role Edward only if they can look naively young enough to look 17, at the same time emotionally mature enough to portray a 100+ years old vampire. Another criteria: doesn't feel too full of themselves or too concious and preoccupied of their handsomnest. I think this is where everyone failed....except Robert Pattinson.

read the description of Edward in the book...william moseley looks the part more than anyone i've ever seen out there...when i saw his picture i gasped because i never expected to find a look-alike in real life...so he'd definitely be my pick...but rob gets who edward is and what he stuggles with...that might matter more than anything.
