the thing that bothers me about a lot of this stuff is the assumption of disc-shaped alien vessels. the term "flying saucer" came from a description of a UFO's movement; that it "moved as a saucer would if skipped across water."

At the time, it was described as cigar-shaped. This pretty much makes me discount anything that references UFOs as saucer-shaped at any point. These people are pretty much idiots. Discounting the works of Da Vinci, Tesla, Einstein, and Von Braun should be a crime.

I like many ideas in "Ancient Aliens", but don't share the notion that Aliens are sinister. I think they much, much ahead of us in many ways, including a level of consciousness.
