I once threw a bully down a flight of stairs. it was a three on one fight so i didn't act dainty. i kicked ones balls up his throat, threw the other down a small flight of stairs, it was like 5 feet so he didn't get that hurt, the third bully tired and very nearly did choke me out with a fucking jump rope, but by that time a friend of mine, who was on the football team and could bench press about 350, noticed and literally threw the guy off me. since a girl saw what happened, i only got ISS.

When the police became involved I screamed self defence and was let off with a caution. The cunt who bullied me was left eating through a straw for six months and transferred school after.
Just persuade the bully to fight off school grounds and then when you kick the crap out of him with a dictionary nobody can get on you about it but your parents, and when the only thing that actually worked was violence they should respect your choice in handling the bully.
my tactic for dealing with online harassment: send the fucker a keylogger, get passwords for as many of their accounts as possible, change them, and post/send out lots of gay porn with them

If the school suspends you, the informed parent will march up and yell up a storm at them for suspending you while they let this bully abuse you. FOllow it up with a lawsuit, and you have a formula for success.
Ya know, if someone is insulting you on facebook, wait till they do that almost everyday and then call the police, because, let´s face it, if someone insults you everyday on a social network to the point of a mental breakdown it is considered stalking, and so, you can call the police and sue the one who had the most coments. Then, when their others friends find out about that they´ll probably stop, because no one wants to go to jail, do they? :)
I agree with most of this, despite the fact that Im a pacifist. Ive always hated violence, though according to my mother, what I say in my sleep begs to differ. Ive been living in sweden for around 14 years now, and for the first 9 years I was constantly surrounded by racism, and more or less everytime I attempted to defend myself, I payed the price whilst the antagonist was let off with a warning. The advice foamy gave out to throw a desk, made me think back to when I was picked on by the class and teacher and I wanted to do that to show my anger. Of course, I only did this in my mind and was crying everyday for a year from the verbal abuse. Lucky for me, all of those bullies got their lives ruined later on in life. i've been bullied all through my school years and i was tough and could take it. but the day some kid though it was a good idea to whip my sister across the face with his coat (the zipper left a big red mark) i took 2 steps and planted one in the middle of his face. poor guy had to have stitches because he nearly bit right through his lower lip. never messed with us again.
I wish I'd followed that (somewhat toned down) kind of advice myself. It got to the point where the only way I could get people to stop making my life hell was nearly lopping off someone's fingers. I say nearly because the power saw missed.

FIGHT BACK. Your teachers HAVE to tell you not to fight back because their top priority is to protect the school from lawsuits; it's not their fault, it's the system's fault. Bullies don't respect people who squeal; they respect people who stand up for themselves. Worst case scenario: you get you ass kicked once, and the bully thinks, "Gee, I'd rather go after someone who won't fight back; it's easier." If everyone stands firm, he has no choice but to become a functional member of society.
I was picked on but ever really got into a fight. No one ever tried to hit me althouih I was almost plowed over by two guys one was chasing the other i was lucky as i was able to cram myself into a doorway but I saw what happened and yeah there was blood. The advice foamy gave out to throw a desk, made me think back to when I was picked on by the class and teacher and I wanted to do that to show my anger. Of course, I only did this in my mind and was crying everyday for a year from the verbal abuse. Lucky for me, all of those bullies got their lives ruined later on in life. i've been bullied all through my school years and i was tough and could take it. but the day some kid though it was a good idea to whip my sister across the face with his coat (the zipper left a big red mark) i took 2 steps and planted one in the middle of his face. poor guy had to have stitches because he nearly bit right through his lower lip. never messed with us again.

I wish I'd followed that (somewhat toned down) kind of advice myself. It got to the point where the only way I could get people to stop making my life hell was nearly lopping off someone's fingers. I say nearly because the power saw missed.
Yes, do go to parents first, and never start a fight. But if it doesn't stop you put the fear of god in them. I'll be telling my kids (if I ever have them) that someday. I hope I never have to though.

I beat up a lot of bullies in my day....They can't fight, they don't fight back, and if you punch them as hard as you can in their eye...well lets say everyone in the school won't fuck with you again. I had to fight 3 bullies in highschool, gave one a seizure (He became the victim afterwards, bully became the bully, only time I defended a bully because I felt bad), crack ones skull open (fractured knuckle in the process), and just KO'd the third. I actually uses this when a douche pushed me against the wall in my class while the teacher was going to the bathroom. I broke a chair over his head and dragged him into the hall. Then I threw him down the stairs and he broke his leg. Everyone in my class was to afraid to tell the teacher so I got of super easy.

It's sucks, not to mention teachers ALWAYS side with the bully if they do get brought into the matter.Some say teachers aren't babysitters but schools do have a duty to keep your child safe.Being bullied is tough to deal with but I always say living well is the best revenge. Every now and then there might be a lone bully with no friends For the most part bullies tend to run in packs and always have back up incase their "alpha male (or female) status" is challenged.
